“Well I purchased cabinets, was very impressed until I got the 2nd set and the top drawer on one of the cabinets was crooked it and would not close completely. I called the store 3 times, the 2nd time I was put on hold for 30 minutes, finally I hung up called back later, only resolution was they would send me a picture of the area, where I would adjust. I told them I was not going to adjust anything because I paid for assembly charges on each cabinet. The owner has never called me back to straighten this situation out, so I would not recommend them to anyone. I paid over $3,000. My kitchen is small.”

“We worked with Bob Cook at this location and couldn't be happier. He was so easy to work with and made sure what we wanted was a priority. “Initially I was relatively pleased with Floors for Living. We had about 75% of our home flooring replaced with wood look tile in 2016. The lead installer was very attentive to detail; when he was present the work was excellent and efficiently done. However, he was not present for the upstairs (about 20% of the project) and we had issues getting the last remaining touches fixed (e.g. transition pieces and top of stairs). I would have given them 4.5/5 stars. Fast forward to the past 12-18 months. We had some areas where the tile did not wear consistently. We have been to the local store at Pearland West multiple times - we spoke to Adam Durow (who left/transferred) and now Bob Cook. EVERYONE agrees this is a manufacturing defect with a certain box and is covered under the manufacturing warranty. We always hear the same message - they will look into it, and get back to us. THEY NEVER GET BACK TO US. We have physically been to the store repeatedly where Bob has said this has not been resolved because 1) he couldn’t see any of Adam’s notes (back to square 1); 2) he never heard back from who ever above him makes this right (his boss, the manufacturer, etc) and 3) he is simply “too busy.”

“This is our second time using Floors For Living. We installed living room and kitchen floor floors a year ago with them, and today we just finished bathroom floors. They did an amazing job. Alec was there every step of the way, even whenever there was a little hiccup was shortage of tile, and pulled through and made it happen to where the job still finished on time. That was very much appreciated. We will def be back when it’s time to replace our carpets.”

“I had a great experience with floors for living. The carpet turned out great and on the install day it was very quick and efficient. I think they were done less than 2hours. I did my master bedroom. I plan to use them again when I’m ready to carpet the other rooms in our house.”

“I don’t think I need to add anything after these pictures, except that it’s Father’s Day, and the repairs on our brand new floors that were installed on April 24, were scheduled for June 15th without my confirmation, I got a text on June 14th. We had big plans for this weekend, we cancelled everything on June 15th and our repair crew never showed up, they called around 1pm and rescheduled for June 16th, well… we cancelled the rest of our plans and they didn’t show up again. I don’t know how well the repairs will be done but I will update this post with “after” pictures. It really frustrates me because we bought some beautiful hardwood floors and the installation crew made it look so bad! Every time people see our floors they joke about our installers not having a measuring tape! Updates as of July 5th, Floors for living never did repairs, we are still waiting!”

“This is my second time using Floors for Living. I had to reschedule the installation due to work and the transition was seamless. Jarod let me take tile samples home to test in different lighting which was a huge help. Once my order was in everything was efficient. Jarod was extremely helpful and communicated with me via text and calls at every step. The install team reconfirmed my request to make sure I was happy with the materials and direction of the layout I had chosen before it was installed. The tile was laid down smooth and the workers were very respectful of my personal items when moving things and working. 100% recommend!”

“I was searching various companies and getting quotes when I walked into Floors for Living. There, I met Mike Moody. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable from our initial meeting until the finish project. He agreed to come out the same day for a quote, and in doing so, the other companies were history from that point on. Mike negotiated his price to meet his competitors price. He set up accurate delivery dates and he also told me he was sending the best workers from the company... The guys came out and delivered what appeared to be beautiful floors. FAST FORWARD- I initially gave the 1st part of this review back in March. My review today is a totally different outcome. Keep in mind, a week after my install is where my horror story begins. Once a week passed, I started noticing hollow spots, high/low areas, squeaking, sticky sounds and you name it. I reached out to Mike immediately and he put me in the system as having a customer service issue. Keep in mind that my initial install happened a week before Covid 19 became real and serious enough to shut the city down. “Our experience with Floors for living was fantastic!! We give them 10 ⭐️!! Jared was extremely knowledgeable with all our questions from the start to the end. He helped us with making a big decision because we wanted tile in our house, in the begging I was a little scared because I didn’t want my house to look like an office with the high gloss porcelain tile that we choose but Jared help us with all his experience. We had gotten bids from others flooring companies and being honest Jared was not the cheapest but he was the best. You pay for what you get and our home looks GORGEOUS !! “The issues I had were not with store personnel. It was the installation and it was a 10 day nightmare. I had tile installed in two bathrooms two times. The first install was so bad they had to tear it up and start over. The installers treated my house like a dump at times, leaving trash and dirt everywhere. One of the days it was so bad two smoke detectors went off due to the amount of dust being spread throughout the house. After my complaints (hard to communicate with installers since my Spanish isn't that good) they started using plastic sheeting. I advise any customers to make sure they check the toilet reseat job since mine was so bad I had to hire plumbers to fix what floor installers did. Even after all this was over the carpet at one of the bathroom entrances was uneven and not properly attached so that one side was puffed up and a danger to trip on. They scheduled it to be fixed 9 days after install (s) were completed. I will never use FFL again. UPDATE: How do I get in touch with whoever replied to my review when there is no name or number? “Deal with this company at your own risk. I installed Argo big tiles and it’s been a nightmare. The installers don’t speak English so it’s impossible to communicate They let mortar sit on the tiles, and when they cleaned them they used dirty water now majority of the tiles are foggy. They put grout after installing the tiles, they wipe the floor with more dirty water then put the furniture back without letting the grout set. These Argo tiles has minor scratches, the Argo dealer promised they would fix it and he stop answering my calls and blocked my number. Be aware!! Update- If you receive a response from the so called owner or customer service. It is just a bot for people reading the reviews to believe this company cares about your experience with them”
