“Highly recommended! We just got all the carpet in our house, including the stairs, replaced with hardwood floor by Floors for Living office on S. Peek Rd. Kassim was very kind and patiently answered all of our questions when we went to the store looking for hardwood floor options. We chose MonoTech by Truetouch, which is a waterproof and scratch resistant wood flooring. Kassim let us borrow a sample of the product we chose to see how the color would look in our house, then he came over a couple of days later to take measurements of all the areas where the carpet was going to be replaced, answered more questions we had, and gave us more details about the installation and the estimated cost. Not pushy at all. The contractors came to install the new floor as scheduled, and did an excellent job! They moved all our furniture, were very careful with all the details of the installation, professional, and even completed the installation in half the time (3 days instead of 6 days!). They also gave us tips for taking care of the floor. We couldn’t be happier with our new wood flooring and with the service Floor for Living provided! “Even though I no longer live in Katy, I chose Floors for Living in Katy on Peek Road to replace my hardwood floors with wood-looking porcelain tile, after my atrium flooded for the third time. Jordan, my sales rep, told me about a sale they had going on, which greatly reduced the price. And since I had used them for the carpet in my upstairs, I think I got a repeat customer discount. I can’t say enough praise for all the workmen in my home, whom I am happy to say all spoke English, even though it is not their native language. Their only concern, and the wonderful manager’s, was in making sure I was happy with the results. I truly highly recommend this store, and their beautiful worry-free porcelain tile floors!!!”

“I had to work extra to pay for my house floors, but after witnessing how these guys work, I was worth every penny. From the sales person, Kassim, to the whole installation crew, they were amazing. They knocked down my old floors and got my new one in as little as 8 days. I would recommend them eyes closed. After cleaning the house, I noticed that in one corner, one of the planks had a fissure. I took pictures, reported it, and the crew came back a couple of days later to replace it. Lifetime warranty comes with it and also lifetime cleaning product for your new floor. Cannot ask for a better deal! I am attaching some before and after pics.”

I appreciate the efforts to get this resolved —— I had a great experience with the sales representative—he was knowledgeable, professional, and provided excellent customer service. Unfortunately, the installation was the complete opposite. Only one installer showed up to install vinyl flooring in my master bedroom and replace the carpet on my stairs with vinyl. The job appeared rushed and the workmanship was unacceptable. The installer dirtied my bedroom furniture and left noticeable gaps between the vinyl and the stair walls, resulting in a poor-quality finish. I documented these issues in the final inspection notes and expected someone to contact me to address them. It has now been seven days, and I have not received a single call or follow-up. For a project costing approximately $5,000, this level of workmanship and customer service after installation is very disappointing. I cannot recommend Floors For Living based on my installation experience. The sales process was excellent, but the installation quality and lack of post-installation support fell far below expectations.”

“We had a great experience with Floors for a living. Our downstairs floors were replaced with wood looking tile and our stairs were replaced with vinyl. Kassim was responsible for making this happen. We were informed of the available options, ends and outs of the demolition and installation process. Quality products and work aren't always cheap but they are reasonable, affordable, especially at a sales price.
