“This is the second time we have worked with Floors for Living at two different locations. Both times it was a great experience. This most recent visit was to the New Territory in Sugar Land. Sam Bell was our sales person and he was patient and very helpful. There was no pressure just gave me a ton of help picking out a Porcelain tile. The install went very smoothly. I had a couple of concerns and contacted Sam and he assured me he would make sure the project was finished to my satisfaction. The install team was very nice and efficient. I can’t say enough about how pleased I am with the whole process. I highly recommend Floors for Living for carpet or tile as these are the two items purchased from them.”

“Floors for living took 6 months to have my flooring installed that was purchased under their scamy buy one get one 50% off sq ft / installed before Thanksgiving or your money back bs “promo”. Which they refused to honor after messing up. The company made a mistake measuring materials that we paid for and did not complete the job for 5 more months. This led me to having to go all the way to the BBA just to get the company to install the flooring that I had purchased! I would not recommend this company to anyone I know. When it came time to finally having my carpet installed they did a half ass job and left carpet strings in every section / wall of my house. I’m still have to go around with a razor to try to cut the strings myself. 10/10 HORRIBLE experience! One of the owner personally texted me that he would “help us out” with getting our floors finished by scheduling a time sooner when we had already been waiting for 5 months for it to be finished. The lack of customer service and honorability of this company is a disgrace.”

“My experience was horrible & final job-Im not satisfied! My service start date for my floors was 10/15. I was told the week of install the product was not going to be on time. They finally came to install on 10/29. I constantly advised installer to close my doors that leads into the house & advised of the snakes in the neighborhood. My doors were left forever open! I don't know what they sprayed outside while working but now there is a white substance on my bushes and on the basketball goal that's not coming off. When Sara ( sales woman) sold the flooring/ stair install we were told we can paint the stair risers and white quarter round to match the white color already in our home before they installed the product. During install we were told no; It's not a good idea to paint before & we need to wait until after all is installed because blah blah blah. 😑 There was a waterproof sealant placed on the floor before tile was layed. However, no waterproof sealant was put on the floor under the fridge. Why? As we walk we can feel the uneven tile also. “We needed to remove my bedroom carpet and replace with wood look tile. Signed contract with Mr.Rick. Agreed the people start and will take 3-4 days. Turned out only one person started to work ,disappearing in between for hours. The 4th day he dissapeared and texted he will come at 5.30 pm. We paid money in full earlier. Now we are stuck! My furnirure is all laying outside bedroom,walkin closet borders still remain . Poor service from New Teritory store. Lies saying "They when Only one person worked and work Not complete. “I had my floors installed about three years ago my entire downstairs from the install I told the installers they needed to have an under alignment when installing the floors they assured me It wasn’t needed not one year passed and my Floors all started to curl up I have been been passed around from store to store manager to store manager until They had the floors inspected twice the manufacturer finally Agreed to honor the warranty that I have the manufacturer will come and replace my floors every customer service person has been very sweet impatient and understanding but Sterlyn the Sugarland manager is rude right upfront he did not want to deal with me and still to the day he is a rude person I would not have anything to do with that store if I had a chance”

Selection and planning process was straight forward and we were in constant communication even after work was complete. “We wanted to like Floors for Living and were excited for our new floors to be installed. However, our patience started to grow thin when Robert would not return phone calls or texts and the guy who came to install the floor would say 9am and not show up until 11am. We were told by Robert the floor would take 2 days and the carpet for our gameroom would take 1 day. The guy came on a Wednesday and it is now Saturday with trim still needing to be installed and our stairs are bare with everything exposed. He informed us yesterday that when he took out the planks for the stairs there were scratches so he needed to order more. He didn't know when they were coming in and informed us the stairs couldn't be finished. He said he would return today ( Saturday) at 10 am to complete the trim in the rooms. It's been a few hours and he still hasn't shown up. We also saw we had a call from the carpet installer this morning. When we called back, he said he was knocking at 8am and no one answered so he returned the carpet and the job is going to be rescheduled for who knows when. We were told by Robert that Friday the carpet guys should be there. No one called or showed up. My husband called Floors ”

I had a good idea of the type of rug and color I wanted. I was immediately shown my options and experienced no sales pressure or up-selling by the staff. Two hours later the manager was at my property taking measurements and promptly ordered the materials. He kept me up to date with the rug delivery date and worked with me on the install date. When a sooner and more convenient install date became available, he contacted me and we set the earlier date. The install crew was on time, friendly, hard working and professional. I actually contacted the manager with a question during the install and received a call back within minutes. I would recommend this company, and particularly the staff at this location. “I would not recommend Floors for Living. Please research and get multiple quotes and also read your contracts with fine prints. - 1/2 off materials is a marketing gimmick. They have high installation costs and I was able to get a quote from another flooring company which came within 10% of the total quote they gave me. So please get quotes before saying yes. - Read your contract (i did this mistake) don't accept anything off the contract that is verbally promised. Bob was my sales person and he promised verbally to cover an area and then plain refused and asked for additional money to complete that job. - They take all the money for the job upfront so the customers have no leverage. Rest of the flooring companies take 50% cost upfront and rest upon completion. I would never make this mistake again. - They sub-contract the jobs. Once I paid all invoice in full, they subcontracted the job and NEVER called to check on the job progress. Bob never checked in on the project. I was left to manage the schedule with the subcontractors daily and work with them morning and evening which needed me to take days off work that I did not anticipate.
