“When you start your quest for flooring, Floors for Living Sugarland is the place to go. Ask for Sarah Garner. My house had tile in the kitchen and entry, Wilson's laminate flooring that was the color of gymnasium floor and Shaw laminate that didn't stand up to two puppies being house trained. My plan was to complete the Dining Room only, but with Sarah's input and thoughts, I decided to do the whole house. I'm so glad I did. Sarah patiently went over the financing options available so that it fit my needs. I ended up selecting Republic's Pure SPC Max Sunset Ivory because it is pet friendly (and I have found that to be true). The continuity of one continuous flooring totally changed the look of our house. It is sooo easy to keep clean. I put a huge gouge in a plank when moving the frig after a wheel collapsed, but Sarah sent Alex out who was able to fix it at a reasonable price. “Worst experience we've ever had with an installed product of this type. We went to the showroom looking to get tile flooring. We had a couple of concerns we shared with the sales rep, and after talking through everything he recommended a laminate product instead. It was supposed to have durability and wear comparable to tile, while being a little more forgiving with falls and close contact Just a little background on us for context. 2 adults live here with 1 toddler. We rarely have friends over, but grandparents visit about once a month. The flooring in question is called Intrigue 20.40 on the work order, it's a product from Shaw. We have this product installed throughout all of our common areas downstairs. We have a different product, an LVP from Mohawk, installed in our gameroon upstairs. The Mohawk product looks like it did the day it was installed 3 years ago. The installation from FFL was great, couldn't be happier with those guys and the service they provided. Everything after that had been a nightmare. These floors are absolutely awful. They get scratched, gouged, bruised, and scuffed by almost anything that touches them.
