“Update: His response to this review fails to mention the structural inspections he failed multiple times. It is mentioned that the job was 90% complete however the city asked me to tear down the roof as it was not structurally sound and I had to pay a new contractor to redo the entire structure. The project, initially estimated to take three weeks, was delayed despite all payments being made ahead of schedule. He failed approximately eight city inspections along the way.  He used subpar materials and lied about the timelines. He didn’t supervise his subcontractors properly and completely botched the entire job. His subcontractors complained to me that he was not paying them and there was a lack of communication and direction among the team.  When I filed credit disputes, he lied to them as well. The way he worded his contract relieves him of all responsibility and allowed him to get away with delays, turning a 3-week project into almost 8 months of incompletion. Please read his contract carefully and omit items that do not hold him responsible for poor workmanship and timelines. His contracts are basically “sorry no refunds, if not as promised”. Check the quality of products used”
