“Positives: the initial meetings were fun! Designing the structures and creating the “dream” is definitely one thing Allied does extremely well. Being able to “see” what it would look like was huge! They embraced my ideas, suggested their own, and we created a model that I was able to reference from start to finish. The various crews (plumbers, electricians, flooring, etc) were fantastic! Very friendly and always left the site clean. I know it sounds weird to mention this as a positive, but mistakes on a job as big as ours are inevitable, and when a mistake was made, Allied was always ready to fix it with very few questions asked. The quality of work is truly fantastic! We have received nothing but “wow!”, “OMG” from visitors. Struggles: It took almost one year to the day to complete the work. Several delays, some big mistakes that took longer than we hoped to fix, and a change in project manager put a bit of a damper on things. We were promised that there would always be someone on site to handle things. That was definitely not the case.
