BKS Home Services, LLC

BKS Home Services, LLC takes on handyman and concrete jobs from its base in Justin, Texas. The company is a disabled veteran owned outfit with more than thirty years on the job. Brent, Kristi and Ben handle the work that comes through the door. Their list covers fireplace builds, cabinet hardware swaps, light fixture repairs, storm door installs, ceiling fan mounting, TV hanging, crown moulding runs, pergola construction and attic storage builds with dropdown stairs.

Homeowners bring them in when they need a kitchen update that includes new pulls and under cabinet lights. One crew replaced a wood wall unit with stacked stone that holds an electric fireplace and hearth. Others called for a heavy front door, an outside trash enclosure, shiplap on walls and motion switches added around the house. The same team has put up drawer pulls, deadbolt locks, stair gates and outlet islands while keeping the work site swept each day.

Brent and the crew answer messages fast and lay out a fair price before they start. They stick to the timeline they give, often finishing a day early even after weather holds them up. The group keeps things clean, explains how the new items work and stands behind what they finish. They cover the Justin area and return for follow up tasks when the first round goes well.

Every review that comes in gives them top marks for showing up on time and leaving the place better than they found it. The same points show up again and again: quick scheduling, crews that treat the house like their own and results that hold up on both small fixes and full room changes. People book them a second or third time because the work stays solid and the communication stays straight.

“Brent and his team not only did an amazing job with our fireplace, but also went above and beyond with many other details he completed for us on our new home. Included were changing light fixtures, adding dimmer and motion switches, under and over cabinet lighting, installing an island outlet and various other tasks. We will be using him to mount another TV and for more small projects. He is fabulous. And Ben and Kristi we also very professional and helpful. Would highly recommend BKS for just about anything you need.”

“BKS did a great job with our storm door install. They were able to get us in quickly, price was competitive & install was quick as well. They did a great/quality job & went over how everything worked afterwards. Second time using them and will we use them again in the future!”

“Brent gave us a very fair estimate for the work we wanted done. He said it would take 3 days - and he delivered. He and his crew were courteous, professional, and we are very pleased with the results. Our built-in wood wall unit has been replaced with a stacked stone wall containing an electric fireplace and hearth and a frame TV. Such a fresh new look for our living room!”

“We love working with Brent and Kristie as well as the crew at BKS. They are a service oriented business, starting from their quick response, scheduling and dependability. They stand by their word and their work!!! (which is not a norm these days for businesses!) BKS has installed our cabinet hardware, under cabinet lighting, our televisions, a ceiling fan, an outside trash enclosure as well as a stair gate. If you need something done in your house, they will do it with excellence and pride. If you need help—-call them!”

“I was having trouble finding someone for a fireplace build and BKS was recommended to me. Quick replies, knowledgeable and excellent work. Took the or time to understand the project, offer suggestions and minimal waste from my provided material.”

“My experience with BKS was so pleasant. Kristi was quick to respond to my emails and gave me a fair quote on all my projects. She scheduled my appointment for the next week and Ben showed up on time. He did a great job installing the drawer pulls in the kitchen and bathroom. Ben told me when BKS comes into a home, they treat like it's their home. And Ben did. We discussed future projects and Ben provided me with recommendations on what i could do. BKS is very reasonable in their pricing and their work is outstanding. I look forward to using them again soon.”

“BKS took the lead on our kitchen update. Brent, Kristi and Ben were great to work with. Brent came back twice to fix a couple of things done by other contractors. BKS made sure we were 100% pleased with the job when finished. We highly recommend.”

“Thank you BKS and Ben for another great job at our home. This is the second time in a month that we have used BKS and we are very happy with your work. Ben was on time and very professional and quickly installed a dead bolt lock, replaced numerous dummy door handles and hung 3 mop/broom fixtures throughout the house. After all was done, Ben even helped me loosen an Allen screw that was needed to heat our bathtub! Thank you all for your professional and friendly service. Your company cares about providing quality service even for small jobs!”

“BKS completed my rather large set of honey-dos for me (about 6 days of work). They will consult with you about your requests and make recommendations, which for me resulted in a better outcome than what I originally envisioned. They care about the quality of work and will only do things the right way for your house and your wallet. I wanted things they don’t do, and they happily gave me references to people who did those things and did them well. I am very happy with the work they did, my interactions with them, and the quality of all the folks they referred me to. I will certainly use them again in the future. They had a small backlog at the time my work was ready, so I had a short wait before they could start. You will be happy you waited. :-)”

“BKS - a great company! Our first time with Brent & Kristi was flooring the attic and installing a new attic opening with dropdown stairs. It was a seamless, perfect build and install. This time Brent and his crew installed 3 TVs (one was very large), on the walls and a very heavy front door. They did a great job, we love the TV mounts and gorgeous front door (it fits perfectly)! Friendly, positive people, on time, with a great clean-up. Use this company for your home fixes/improvements, you won't be disappointed!”

“BKS Services was professional and responsive from start to finish. They immediately fit us in for a consultation and quickly responded with a quote. We had storage space built out in an attic and they were quick, efficient, and we are thrilled with the enormous space! They are easy to work with, great with recommendations on what to do and not, flexible, trustworthy, and we'll definitely use them again!”

“Brent and Ben from BKS did a terrific job on my trashcan enclosure build. It looks great and was very affordable. They were very professional, personable and efficient. Kristi was a pleasure to deal with when setting up the project. I would highly recommend their services.”

“The BKS team helped us design and build our living room entertainment space. They did a great job and we’re really happy with the outcome. I’ve never worked with a remodeling company that was this clean and organized. We would definitely use BKS again!”

“BKS Home Services just completed our screened-in pergola. The job was estimated to take two weeks. First of all, let me say that they did an outstanding job. Second, they completed one day ahead of schedule in spite of the fact they had a one and a half day rain delay. Although I had seen several screened-in pergolas online, I still wasn’t sure what I wanted. Brent was able to conceptualize the pergola and explained it to me. The finished product was so much better than I had ever anticipated or hoped for. We are extremely pleased with the outcome. The work was done professionally and to perfection. Every day, the job site was cleaned and swept so that you almost didn’t know anybody had been there. As you can tell, I am thrilled with the product and the service provided. If I could give them 10 stars on this project, I would. I have nothing but praise for the entire BKS Services team. They were professional, honest and precise in everything that they did. I definitely recommend them for any project that anyone has or anticipates. I will use them again if I have anything in the future I need done.”

“There are not enough positive words to describe the results of my recent renovations in my home…BKS was exceptional! They added an electric fireplace with a stone surround. Then they used the same stone under my bar wall leading into the kitchen & finally that stone as my new backsplash. Plus, Brent recommended under cabinet lighting. Perfect addition! It all ties my living area & kitchen together beautifully. Their level of professionalism is of the utmost quality. I highly recommend their services. They are capable of making any changes or additions for your home. I plan to use their services again, for sure!”

“I was so pleased with my experience with BKS Home Services on my first project, I called on them again to do another project for me. I had them put up shiplap, install an electric fireplace, put up a new ceiling fan, and mount a TV. It turned out great. I was impressed on how much pride they took in their work right down to taking the time to address the details. I will call again for my next project.”

“I hired BKS to install crown moulding throughout my entire home. BKS sourced the proper crown and did a wonderful job with the installation. The project took longer than anticipated due to the sheer amount of work involved, but they worked diligently to ensure it was completed in a timely manner. My wife and I are happy with the results. We will definitely use their services for future projects.”
