Suncoat of Texas LLC

Suncoat of Texas LLC runs a family-owned concrete coating business out of Pflugerville. They handle decorative work on pool decks, patios, driveways, and garage floors for homes and businesses in the area. Their list of services includes Classic Spray Texture, Aggregate Overlay, Stamped Concrete Overlay, Faux Wood and Stone Overlay, Concrete Staining, Epoxy Flooring, Flake Flooring, and basic concrete repair. The company has operated since 2018 and keeps every job with its own crew instead of bringing in outside help. They cover Pflugerville plus Georgetown, Round Rock, Leander, Cedar Park, and spots within a 60-mile radius of Austin.

Homeowners call them for driveway coatings that fix cracks and update old surfaces, patio resurfacing that hides damage, and pool deck jobs that involve removing old material, filling gaps, and adding new texture or color. Several jobs mention Tim and Randa handling the front end, Daniel working directly with customers on repairs, and Israel leading crews on the actual application. One review noted a garage floor epoxy that left bugs and metal pieces in the finish along with overspray on trim and gaps at baseboards. Most other accounts describe driveways and porches coming out uniform with cracks blended into patterns so they disappear.

The company responds to calls the same day in many cases and keeps customers updated through the whole job, even when rain delays things. Crews show up on schedule, prep surfaces carefully, and finish without subcontractors. Pricing comes after an on-site look, and they return for touch-ups when needed. Work stays inside the listed towns and the broader Central Texas zone around Austin.

Reviews total over 130 on their Google listing with a 4.9 rating. Common points include steady updates from the office, crews that stay on task, and surfaces that hold up in Texas heat after the first season. One review gave one star over finish problems on an epoxy floor.

“Suncoat of Texas is a company that epitomizes professionalism, expertise in their field with proactive and responsive communication with their customers. These traits are present from ownership, management and their employees (no sub-contractors!!). They did a beautiful job for us and we couldn't be more pleased with the end results. I would highly recommend Suncoat of Texas as they are an elite concrete coating and texturing company.”

“I couldn’t be happier with my new driveway coating! From start to finish, the entire process was professional and seamless. The office kept me up to date with the day to day process and the team arrived on time. The finished driveway looks brand new and has completely transformed the curb appeal of my home. I have already received several compliments from neighbors. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking for high-quality driveway coatings and outstanding customer service!”

“Suncoat of Texas just completed another excellent job on my driveway and patio in Sun City Texas. First used their services in 2019 to apply a decorative/protective coating to my driveway and front patio. The results were/are fantastic! Used Suncoat again in 2022 to apply a decorative/protective coating to my new back patio, and also to power wash my driveway and front patio area. Again another excellent job! And in May 2025, just finished a power wash and touch-up of my driveway, front patio, and back patio. The results were fantastic once again! Each time I worked with the same fantastic team: Tim and Randa. Super customer-oriented, kept me informed, and answered my questions. The cost was fair and reasonable and the results beyond my expectations. If I could, I would give Suncoat of Texas 10-stars! I have been 100% satisfied with all three jobs they have performed for me over the last 6 years. The quality of their work and customer service is among the best I have every received in being a homeowner for over 50 years now. I will definitely use them again in another 3 years, God willing. I suggest you give them a try...you will not be disappointed.”

“We can’t be more pleased with Suncoat. They repaired a big crack across the driveway and beautifully resurfaced them. They were punctual, professional, very courteous and kept us informed at each stage of the process. Kudos Suncoat!”

“Absolutely amazing experience. Exceptional work quality and customer service. Daniel & Randa are super friendly. I’ve users their services twice now. Each time it felt like they were old friends of mine. Excellent communication and the hard workers on board are very meticulous. They take precautions to avoid any overspray and take time to prep driveways properly before applying the top coats. Just an impressive company and crew. Highly recommended. Just get it done, it’s the best upgrade and “wow” factor you can do for your home. Constant compliments. You’ll have the best driveway in the neighborhood. I guarantee it!”

“We hired Daniel with Suncoat of Texas to remove the very old cool deck from around our pool, repair and fill in cracks in the cement and then put on the new decking material, Suncoat. They then “etched” in a design so you can’t even see where the cracks are. I admit, we were picky, but they worked with us closely making sure we were completely happy with their work. We are! I look at the before pictures and can’t believe how gross we let it get. They did quality work in a professional manner and the pool and patio look great!”

“We researched many companies before deciding to get new cool coat put on our pool deck & patio. After reading MANY reviews and researching VERY thoroughly, we decided to go with this company (Sun-coat of Texas). WE ARE SO GLAD we did! Their customer service is top-notch! TO INCLUDE EVERYONE!! Tim (our sales representative) was so productive, helpful, friendly, timely, & professional! He always answered our calls or questions. Randa at the office was so nice & informative. She kept us up to date on all services being performed as we went through a week worth of rain during scheduled service. Very professional as well! Israel (& his team) work very hard & diligently to get the work done. After work was completed … Tim came back out to do a quality check & fixed any imperfections that might have happened or we wanted fixed. He was making sure we were satisfied 100% before collecting final payment. I know 110% we would use this company again . We would not call for any other! You will NOT be disappointed. Thank you all for the wonderful experience & professionalism!!!”

“Despite my moniker of “John Doe”, I am a real person (Pete) posting this review of Suncoat of Texas , LLC. We just had our concrete patio porch and pool surround treated by Suncoat of Texas. They cleaned, painted, and sealed all the concrete surfaces, and replaced the pool coping mastic. We selected Suncoat of Texas LLC after searching thru their customer reviews, and meeting Tim Richards, who prepared an estimate and plan of action for our job. Tim was always in touch with us. He stressed that our complete satisfaction in Suncoat’s work is always their goal, and made himself available for any questions we had during the job. The crew of Israel, Allan, and Escardo did excellent work. They were thorough and efficient in their work, and made our patio and pool surround look like new. Our thanks to Randa as well, who let us know at what time each day to we could expect the crew, and made sure Tim got all our messages. We will use Suncoat in the future to maintain our concrete surfaces and thank them for a great job! Pete”

“We just had our driveway, front porch and rear porch coated by these guys. Daniel was easy to work with and ensured we were happy before we paid the 2nd half. Randa is great and kept us up to date all through the process. Our driveway came out lighter than expected and Daniel immediately said they would darken it. There was zero hassle. I highly recommend these guys.”

“We just had our inground pool decking resurfaced and sealed by Suncoat of Texas. We LOVE the results!! Our old concrete decking had some cracks in it and they completely hid the cracks through making a pattern on the surface so you can't tell where the cracks were. So ingenious! The whole process from talking with the production manager Tim to the friendly and timely information from Shelly, to the professionalism of Israel and his crew was TOP NOTCH! If you are looking for a company that treats you and your project with respect and care, look no further. We have just hired them again to do our front patio and walkway in a couple of weeks. I know it will be just as beautiful as the decking is around our pool, it looks brand new again. Thank you Suncoat of Texas, we are very happy customers and we will highly recommend you to anyone considering resurfacing their concrete. Jeff and Maggie Georgetown TX”

“I can't recommend Suncoat of Texas highly enough! They worked on our garage floor, front and back porch, and pool deck, so this review is long overdue. Everything has held up to the Texas heat extremely well. After the ice storm, we did have a couple of cracks appear on the front porch. Suncoat was extremely responsive and came out quickly to make the repair. It was a no-brainer to hire Suncoat again to resurrect our driveway. Cracks, disintegrating wood joints, and mismatched pieces of concrete from damage during pool installation - gone. The multi-layer process they use includes a specialty color sealer made to withstand hot tires. I have no doubt it will last as well as it looks! We could not be more thrilled with the result.”

“I can't thank Daniel and his team enough for making our backyard patio beautiful again! We called Suncoat because they came highly recommended from other reviews we found on the Internet and our neighborhood facebook group. We couldn't be happier and are sooo glad we made the decision to go with Suncoat of Texas. They are also local in Pflugerville, which was a bonus for us. From day one, they were impeccable in every way. Most companies excel in only one of two areas: execution or service. Rarely do they excel in both, but Suncoat is the unicorn that does both extremely well! They were extremely professional from the get go. It was easy to setup an initial phone call and James (think that was your name. sorry if I remembered wrong!) came for an in-person consultation and explained all details of the process from start to finish that would happen over two days, essentially. We called them because I had accidentally damaged our patio extension pretty badly. I left a spray pump with acid wash on top of our patio without realizing I didn't tighten one of the nozzles well, and the next morning found a huge, runny, acid stain that ate away at our concrete in the shape of an orangey-to”

“Suncoat of Texas did an excellent job resurfacing our driveway. The quality of the work was outstanding from start to finish. Tim was great throughout the entire process. The crew was professional, efficient, and respectful, and Randa kept me informed at every step with clear and timely communication. Overall, it was a very smooth experience with a high quality result. I highly recommend.”

“Daniel and his team at Suncoat of Texas are committed to providing high quality service and workmanship. They don't only talk about it, they perform to your expectations and 100% satisfaction. You'll be glad you hired them too!”

“The work is subpar. There were bugs and even a piece of metal buried on the epoxy. The flakes were thrown EVERYWHERE, including on top of doors, door trim and into the shelves of transom windows about ten feet above the floor. How does that even happen?!?! There are gaps around baseboards, cabinets and the toilet. We started to call them back and have corrections done. But we have been put off by other so much piss poor work by subcontractors that we had to get our business relocated and get started otherwise we would take an even bigger financial hit. I would never ever use these people.”

“Daniel and his staff are very professional. They do excellent work. We love our new driveway, sidewalk, and porch. Thank you Suncoat Texas!! Terry and Debra Adams”

“Suncoat of Texas was fantastic! they completed the surfacing of our patio and did a great job. We are so pleased with how it came out. If you are thinking of getting your patio resurfaced, do not hesitate to give them a call. They are the best!!”

“What a transformation! Our front porch was cracked and chopped and now it is all kinds of beautiful! Color blends innoerfectly with the sidewalk! Randa and Daniel provided excellent customer service and the work crew performed magic!”

“If you are looking for decorative concrete you have found the right company! These guys attention to detail is amazing. Very happy with their finished product and service. Give them a call and ask for Timothy.”

“Suncoat of Texas provided all services promised for our concrete coating of the driveway, walkway, and front patio. From the initial contact we made to Suncoat with a phone call to inquire of services to the follow up inspection of the finished product and all paperwork for the project, it could not have gone more smoothly. From Tim setting up and supervising the project to Randa in the office always keeping us updated at all times to the crew who did the work, it could not have gone more smoothly and professionally in all phases of the project. It certainly is heartwarming to know you put your trust in a company to do what you were promised and then some. Suncoat and the employees certainly did so and I am not afraid to recommend the company to anyone.”
