“Zion personnel were on time for all three phases of the project- demo, pouring new concrete and then the GemScape final phase. Project managers were easy to communicate with and discuss their area of responsibility. The work was completed as promised even though I had to delay the Zion project midterm as I had another project previously scheduled - including a weather delay - which needed to be completed prior to Zion finishing. The production team was easy to work with and accommodated me and the project was completed as agreed upon. Both teams were excellent with the cleanup process after the work was completed. “Hired Zion after the original contactor went out of business. The patio had been done in March 2025 and was never exactly what we wanted. “We were sold on the idea of using a small family owned company that was expanding to our area. We viewed numerous photos of jobs completed on their site and phones. We paid our deposit, then scheduled for install. Instead of a team of employees (as was described on our consultation) one gentleman showed up. Worked alone, told us that the image used to demonstrate the look we were going for on our patio was not the same material being as shown in the photo. The photo was from their website! I called the salesman, told me I was in good hands and that he was going to have his people reach out to the installer. He still seemed unsure how to provide what we were asking. The installer was very polite and patient. He told us he was subcontracted out. He had limited color options to achieve what we were looking for. Lastly, after the job, no manager or sales representative showed up to confirm the job complete or customer satisfaction was achieved. I even emailed stating I was surprised of this fact, though I was told to expect it at date of purchase. “I contracted with Zion Outdoors to seal my pool deck and replace the pool skimmer travertine covers in January 2026 and paid a significant deposit. After several weeks of no word on scheduling the job, I became proactive and contacted Zion for a scheduling commitment. Two workers arrive on the specified day, didn't have a water hose to connect to their pressure washer, and asked if I had a hose they could use...I obliged and loaned them my hose. I asked if a chemical would be used to clean the deck and was told that they don't have a cleaning solution. Since a chemical was not used the results of the deck washing was unacceptable. I asked the workers not to seal the deck until the deck was cleaned properly. Additionally, and contrary to the sales contract, the pool skimmer tops (3) were not installed. I contacted Zion Outdoors and asked to have a manager look at the pool deck to formulate a plan to properly clean and seal the pool deck and install the travertine pool skimmer covers; as outlined in the agreed contract.
