“The repair technician was very professional and knowledgeable, as well as pleasant to talk with. He knew exactly what the problem was and attended to it quickly and efficiently. I have used Garage Door Solutions in the past and they are great. Unfortunately, I didn't use my military/veteran discount, as I wasn't aware that they offered it until the work was completed, and my wife asked the technician. But the invoice was already completed. That could have saved me if the technician had asked me if I served in the armed services. Maybe their business needs to include that I'm a Veteran on my profile in their database, so they are aware ahead of time. /Jerry”

“This was our second call in two years to GDS, with Richard II as our tech. Our problem this time was that the door fell off the tracks after being struck by an overheight vehicle. Thankfully no one was hurt. Richard attacked the mess...bent panels, bent guide rail...we were sure the door would have to be replaced. But for less than sales tax on a new door, we were up and running with full repairs just like you would expect from an automotive body shop. I like these guys, and you will too!”

“Update: Jamie replied saying there was a family emergency that caused the delay. Being a small family business i understand these things come up. She got Richard out promptly and he addressed my issue with the weather stripping, giving me cost and options. I am considering which way i want to go and appreciate the options. Having them return Thursday to do some work. Changing to 5 stars in anticipation of the upcoming work being up to previous standards. Have used them in the past with satisfaction but expensive. Now asking if they replace weatherstripping at bottom of door in their services. Three days of calling at various times to talk to a rep only gets me a recording that says if we do not answer we are with other customers and to leave a message. Left messages with a call back number with no replies. Are you all that busy!! Yesterday 1/26 I received a voice mail after I gave them a one star rating with them saying they did not get my messages and that their manager has been sick. I told them I was sorry about the manager and maybe it was a phone problem at either end but maybe they could change their recording to,due to medical issues we can not take your call at this time. ”
