“2 stars because they came out late to us one night and did a quick repair & customer service was nice from initial call. But, the penny pinching for any and everything such as, adjusting the measurements on our motor (just pushing buttons on our pre-existing motor) was an extra charge for us, the guy also threw in the "if you want to leave a tip" of course, and just other minor things looking back on now we regret using this company. We did have a late night garage door "emergency" so we had to pay whatever to free our vehicles for next day. But we were definitely over charged for the repair service they did, and couple days later we had another issue and they wanted to charge us $100 more to come back to us. Just felt taken advantage of.”

“BUYER BEWARE! They over charge for every item they try to push. Garage door opener the charge $2100, Home Depot $300, spring $1400, Home Depot $100, Nylon Rollers $36 ea, Home Depot 10 for $25. I would never recommend using this company. IF you do use them, demand a line item quote ahead of time and get online to compare prices for each item, you will then see that they are ripping you off. After reading the 5 star reviews, it appears to me that those happy customers meant to be reviewing A1 Garage Door Service instead.”

“This place is a scam! I needed a garage door repair and they WAY overcharged! They charged $2100 for a new garage door opener that the exact same model at Home Depot is $250! The quote for all the work was $2500 but after it was all done the bill was over $5k! But the work was done so what do you do! I can’t believe this is a google verified business! And to top it off the guy asked for a tip!! I am livid right now.”

“Total scam. Benefiting on getting leads from those trying to use the reputable A1 Garage Company. Used a refurbished spring, lasted a week. Insisted on Zelle. Insisted on a Google review for a Florida Garage Door company…I am in TX. Do not use.”

“I had a horrible experience with this company. My gate wouldn’t close and they sent out a tech that didn’t even have and experience working on gates he programmed openers. He proceeded to take my gate motor apart to adjust the parameters of my gate door messed it up 3X and I literally had to call him out each time and baby sit him to get it halfway right. Now my gate won’t open all the way and I called them today to have them send out a more experienced tech to fix my issue and was promised calls back and never received them!!! I called back and the owner Michelle (very disrespectful by the way) begins to tell me I was going to have to pay to have another tech sent to fix the problem they created she hung up in my face when I told her that isn’t how a business is supposed to be ran so now I’m left with a broken gate VERY DISRESPECTFUL!!! I WOULDN’T recommend this company to my worst enemy and also the director lady Michelle that I spoke to seemed to be slurring on our phone call so they probably need to give her a random drug/alcohol test bc I’m pretty sure she was almost falling asleep on the phone with me!! Highly up professional it’s a 0 rating for me for sure!!!!”

“Terribly ran company. I called bc my gate wouldn’t open-tech came out, and had it open then adjusted my gate and programmed some remotes while he was here. Whatever he did made my gate not fully open (when it did before) so I called back. Talked to Michelle who’s supposed to be a director. She tried lying saying we only called him out to program gate openers and that he isn’t a gate tech which sorry-doesn’t cost $136 and WHY would you send someone out to fix a broken gate who ISNT A GATE TECH?! I asked for someone to come out and fix the problem THEY created, and she said she’d have to charge me, then proceeded to hang up on us a couple times after we had to call her bc she never called us back. She said “you’re not my only problem I have to deal with, and hung up.” I hope to god the owner sees this and fires her, and ALL customers do NOT use those garbage company! I know a lot of people with gates and will be making sure they don’t use A1. 👌🏼”
