After watching a YouTube video, I became aware that they used a wrong size spring because after I wound up the spring as far as the spring allows, the door still closes pretty rapidly from the midway position. They would not come out and replace it under warranty because they claim that the company changed ownership! Beware!!!”

“On Sunday, a spring broke on our double garage door. The aging motor struggled to open it. We needed to get a car out in case of an emergency. When I called Door Works first thing Monday they were able to schedule an appointment for evaluation and repair the same day. John, the technician, sent a text when he was on his way and arrived at the scheduled time. Within a few minutes he assessed the situation and presented me with several options. Both springs and the lift mechanism were replaced at a very reasonable price. John also did some routine maintenance to other parts of the door. After the service was completed he insisted on making sure that my wife was able to program the opener in her car.
