Discount Garage Door and Opener LLC

Discount Garage Door and Opener LLC handles garage door work out of Conroe. Scott runs the operation and takes care of new door and opener installs along with repairs and maintenance on all brands. The company has been around since 2001 and focuses on fixing what is broken or putting in replacements when needed. Scott shows up for both simple fixes like remotes and sensors and bigger jobs such as full door swaps or opener changes.

Customers call when doors stop working right or when they need a new setup. Scott has fixed motors that would not power the door, sorted out remote issues that other techs could not crack, and replaced openers so they run quiet. He has also put in complete new doors and openers on the same day, cleaned up the work area, and left everything running without extra parts or changes that were not required. Reviews note the door worked right after the visit and stayed that way.

Scott answers texts and calls fast, often arriving within an hour or the same day. He gives straight quotes that come in lower than others and skips any push to buy extras. Work stays on schedule, he explains what is wrong, and he keeps the site clean when he finishes. The company serves the local area and fits jobs into the schedule even on short notice.

Most feedback gives top marks for showing up on time, knowing the equipment, and charging fair rates without added costs. Scott gets credit for clear talk and solid results across dozens of jobs. DIRT Score 4.3 from 30 reviews on Finds.

“Scott did an outstanding job installing our garage doors. He arrived on time, worked diligently, and made sure everything was cleaned up before he left. His pricing was very competitive—the best in town—and the quality of his work exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for reliable, professional service.”

“**update** His response is more indicative of how he will minimize you and your experience. My garage door STILL to this day continues to have this problem. He can’t troubleshoot common problems and handles the most basic conflict with zero emotional regulation or maturity. When he started yelling and throwing his hands up, it was time to walk away. Wildly unprofessional and his response here is more of the same. Also just food for thought he insists on getting reviews for Google. Nothing organic about demanding reviews. Had another company assess my problem that Scott could not solve, the motor wasn’t powering the door properly. Too tough to troubleshoot for Scott. Not to mention the rubber weatherproofing is also coming apart. Unreal. Not even 7 months and I’m having to repair his workmanship. *** Installed 3 steel doors and 2 New openers. doors. Doors are beautiful. The service was great until it wasn’t. 3 months later. 2 of my doors are rolling back up as if something is wrong with the sensor alignment. Having to hold the door opener buttons to make them continue to roll down. This happens continuously on and off. I’ll find my door open all night long when I come into my garag”

“Scott was prompt when we reached out, he was here within 10 minutes. He provided us an honest quote that was 3 times less than the other 2 people we had called. He was friendly and offered that good ol' service from back in the day that is hard to come by nowadays. I would give him 7 starts if I could. I cannot say enough great things about Scott, but for now, please accept our gratitude and thanks!!!!”

“Scott worked his magic. I was very impressed with the way he troubleshot the situation with my remote control garage door opener. He did exactly what he needed to do and got it working within record time. Prior to him I had had several technicians come over and all they wanted to do was replace it, but Scott jumped right in and he worked like a pro to give me a garage door that works perfectly and I am very, very satisfied with his work. His pricing is also very good. His great customer service and discount put a big smile on my face. Thanks Scott.”
