DH Pace Texas
Garage Door Technician · Coppell, TX
About
DH Pace Texas runs a garage door supply and service operation from its location in Coppell. The company handles commercial door supply along with related work such as installations and repairs for storefronts, sliding doors, maglocks, and dock equipment. Google lists the business under garage door supplier and door supplier categories, with an address at 825 W Sandy Lake Rd. Service reaches into nearby spots like Plano and Waco based on calls that come in.
Customers report jobs that range from quick maglock fixes on doors that would not lock to storefront repairs and sliding glass door adjustments. Aaron, Kenny, and Matt showed up the same day for one repair and sorted the issue in under two hours. Pedro handled sliding door problems at a storage site and another location. Tim stepped in on a door stopper job where only screws needed attention. Other calls involved full sets of six doors plus dock gear that dragged on for months with incomplete visits and slow replies. Some jobs brought complaints about labor charges reaching eight hundred dollars for half an hour of work or multiple trip fees after missed dates and missing parts.
Reviewers describe response times that can hit same-day on weekdays but run into minimum fees of several hundred dollars for Saturday arrivals plus separate drive time costs that surface later. Scheduling happens over the phone with details on pricing that sometimes shift between the initial call and the technician arrival. The business takes calls across a spread of Texas locations rather than staying limited to one city, and feedback notes both smooth handoffs from schedulers to crews and cases where follow-up on status fell short.
The Google rating sits at 4.1 with reviews that keep coming back to commercial door repairs, technician performance on specific fixes, and questions around clear pricing and job completion. Positive notes focus on certain crew members who sorted problems fast while other entries flag delays, extra costs, and work left unfinished.

What Customers Say
“Wonderful customer service. After trying to get a diagnosis for a maglock door not locking and playing phone tag, and being passed around for 3 days. I called DH Pace this morning for a maglock repair. The gentlemen (Aaron, Kenny, and Matt) were here by early afternoon diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in less than 2 hrs. The entire process was great from the scheduler to the gentlemen that fixed it. Thank you!”
“Called in Saturday for a storefront door repair. I’m located in Waco and opened my conversation with that information and my address. The lady who answered the phone explained it would be a $480 minimum for them to show up Saturday. I asked what the price would be for Monday, which she explained would cost $39 + the first hour ($160). I agreed and we scheduled the appointment. Monday at 3pm the technician called to inform us he was on the way and he verified if we were ok with paying for their drive time. Which we were not informed of and not ok with. When I explained to him what the woman on the phone said his words were “she does this a lot.” I don’t know who hired or runs this operation but I’ve filed a complaint with the State Comptroller to have them look in to this as a bait and switch or potential matter of fraud. This being verified as an ongoing occurrence by an employee is enough for me to add this company to a short but growing list of companies I won’t do business with nor recommend. The only thing sparing this from a 1 star was the technicians honesty”
“We're a 10+ year business in Plano, and this is the worst experience for repair we've ever had. Called them to repair a door stopper, not even a door replacement. Stopper wasn't even replaced, just the screws on them. Labor fee 800$ for 30 minutes. Never use them unless you're willing to pay nearly a thousand for a few screws. Edit: Tim took good care of us, and will change the 1 star only because of him.”
“If I could give them 0 Stars I would. Buyer beware. This company is very unprofessional and very unorganized. I was coordinating a project and had to pay for three trip charges for the other party as the installers no showed on the first installation date, then didn't have the glass for the doors on the 2nd installation date, and didn't have the frames fabricated for the third date. If i had not already paid a deposit I would not have moved forward with their work. Go elsewhere where you time, money, and business is valued. Their work was sloppy and they had to come back to finish their work once they finally arrived prepared.”
“We contracted with DH Pace to put in a total of 6 doors and associated dock equipment. After 9 months they can't seem to get the work completed, don't respond to inquiries on status, and pretty much ignore us. When they have showed up, they do some work and leave without completing the work. I would not recommend DH Pace to do ANY work for anyone at this point. Absolutely horrible in my opinion.”
“The best way to describe DH Pace is “easy to work with”. Best commercial door company in TX. I have recommended them many times and will continue to do so. Everyone there is very nice and a pleasure to work with.”
“Pedro really helped us put with our sliding glass door issue. Thank you for being so attentive and professional!”
“Pedro did an amazing job repairing our sliding doors at public storage. Thank you!”
“Came through when really needed and did a fantastic job. It was a true emergency and they did the job that day.”
