He inspected everything and laid out all of my options for 3 levels of opener and 3 levels of springs. It turns out that I still had the original equipment from my home's construction 17 years ago. “If you want competent honest repairmen avoid these sales people masquerading as repairmen at all costs (LITERALLY)!! I booked an appointment online since they say on their website that they waive their $59 service call fee if you book online and since they installed my prior garage door opener. When the tech showed up he told me that they didn't have me in the system as a client AND in order to even look at the unit they would need $180 ('general service fee')!!! How is this not a hidden 'service call charge' as I wasn't told of this BEFORE they showed up? The Tech ended up charging me the $180 to tell me what I already knew and unable to diagnose what specific component was damaged.
