“I had four other technicians come in to fix this Repair. None of them ever got it right Martin Ramirez shows up knows exactly what he was doing knew exactly what the fix was handled. It got it fixed within 30 minutes as part of a warranty claim as well and now it works perfectly my Door squeak like a 1950s school bus and made so much rattling and buckling noise now it’s perfectly quiet amazing that this gentleman knows what to do. I would highly recommend requesting this guy for service. He works for Jacob‘s overhead door.”

This spring I am having our house painted and I decided to replace the bent lower panel before the painting started. A few days later, Vinnie Dartez, a Service Tech with Jacobs came by in the morning and replaced the panel, adjusted the spring tension and generally tuned up the whole door, which now works perfectly. “I don’t know about any other homeowners out there, but no one ever told us garage doors needed maintenance! Chalk this info up under: things we should be taught but aren’t! “Had them install a rubber strip 7/24 for my overhead garage door that would keep away bugs from getting inside. Fast forward a whole year later, the strip has come off, which was odd because I was told it was going to be anchored, instead it was glued… we paid 400$ for them to glue a rubber strip on the ground. No biggie, I called to see if they could come fix it under warranty due to the confusion and the fact they’re located less than half a mile from our location. Well the secretary told me it would be 325 for them to come and fix it… small things like this kill small businesses over time! I hope she’s not the owner UPDATE I tried to give them another chance, booked an appointment to get my industrial overhead door looked at since it’s malfunctioning. Was willing to pay, they send a residential tech and then told me they’d send the right one the next day, and he NEVER SHOWED UP. Not sure how they have so many good reviews here, their yelp is 2.5/5”

“I had an appointment scheduled a week in advance, and this company canceled the day of the appointment. I called at 9 AM and again at 12:30 PM. They rescheduled to appear between 8 AM and 1 PM. When I called the first time at 9 AM, they verified that they would be there before 1 PM. It wasn’t until I called the second time that they notified me they would not be able to show up.
