“Good, fast, professional service from a friendly, knowledgeable technician. I was worried that they might have to replace the entire motor unit on the garage door, but they just re-soldered the one contact that needed it, then did general service. They also adjusted and lubricated the door, and now it's a lot quieter, too. A lot of less-professional repairmen would have told me the unit needed replaced. All for less than $100 in my case, and if I knew it would have been that little, I'd have called them sooner.”

“BIG SHOUT OUT to Chase. The best technician I have ever met. He did a brilliant job fixing my garage door. He deserves more than a 5 Star. I called a couple of other service providers which were 5 Star rated and all of them said that a door needs to be replaced with a new one. Chase fixed the door in less than 1 hour, I was pleasantly surprised by his skills. Charges to fix the door also were not ridiculous. Would definitely recommend Chase/AMSGD for any garage door issues and save unnecessary expenses.”

“First, I got a great door that I'm ultimately happy with, but that credit goes to the manufacturer. Working with AMS has been difficult. The original install day came and went without a phone call and when I did call I had to reschedule and only received a "there was a misunderstanding". I did get $200 off the final cost due to that issue. A little over a year after the door was installed it starting really squawking and didn't work right. The spring bar sagged a good 3-4 inches in the middle, and the weatherstripping was poorly installed. They came out, looked at it, and tuned it up and it's working much better but still charged me $40. Now I admit that I sat on the install issues for a year and change but they were still install issues. I paid the $40, but it doesn't seem right. Also, as part of the repair, the tech broke a price of weatherstripping. No big deal really, and he said would replace it the next day. He never came and now I'm following up. It's not that they're a horrible company, but it's not as seamless as other reviews have made it out to be. They were less expensive than other companies and the door itself (not made by AMS) is of great quality. The techs are fri”

“After the sound of a breaking spring ruined my morning, AMSGD was the 2nd place I called (I wish it was the first!). The first place wanted an emergency surcharge and couldn't help me the same day. I spoke to Mike at AMSGD in the morning and he gave me an estimated time that a technician could be here. Chase, the technician, was polite, friendly, and very efficient. I don't do reviews often unless the quality is very poor, or excellent. Don't hesitate to call these guys for your garage needs!”

“This is my second time using AMSGD - 1st was about 8 months ago... just for a tune up to have my garage door a bit less noisy... Anyway - a few days ago my tension spring broke after 10 years of service (not from AMS). Mike and his team were out NEXT DAY - I didn't have to be at home - left key under mat - monitored with my Security Cameras - Mikes staff was on time and went right to work... about 45 min late... all done. Staff sent text to wife... we "re armed" our security system and all is well. These guys are the real deal!”

“Does anyone call back or respond to emails? I had a tech out 3 weeks ago and said we needed a new motor but it would have to be approved by our property company. After almost 2 weeks, the property company hadn’t even received info that they had been out or a quote. Quote was finally received a few days later and that was Tuesday. Now I can’t get anyone on phone or email to schedule for our repair. This is ridiculous as the first thing on their website says based on Customer service.”
