About

Neighborhood Garage Door Service Dallas handles garage door repair and installation out of Irving. They fix broken springs, replace openers and panels, install new doors, and perform tune-ups. The company runs 24/7 emergency calls with same-day dispatch and upfront quotes before any work begins. Technicians cover Irving plus nearby spots including Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen and Richardson.

Customers call when springs break and leave the door stuck, or when doors go off track and make noise. Hayden and Terry straightened a bent panel, added a tension bracket, and tightened torsion springs after one homeowner damaged the door trying a DIY fix. Alan replaced a broken spring on a next-call basis so the door could be used again. Troy showed up early with parts on the truck and got a door working fast. Carlos explained damage, finished a job in under an hour, and programmed an opener. Ethan and others replaced rollers and motors so doors ran quiet again.

The outfit answers calls around the clock and averages a 45-minute response. Reviewers note techs call ahead when running late and give maintenance tips after the job. Quotes come before work starts, and most repairs finish the same day. They serve the listed Texas metro areas and keep regular hours plus emergency nights and weekends.

Google shows 4.5 from 936 reviews. Reviewers keep mentioning fast spring and opener fixes by named techs along with clean and professional visits, while some flag high final bills on bigger jobs and disappointment when low-price tune-up specials turned into extra charges. What Customers Say

“I set up a Garage Door Repair from "Yes" Garage Door Repair Services. They sent out Hayden and Terry to do the work. I had tried to tighten the Torsion Bar Springs and failed when my insufficient tool slipped and that first spring sprung completely. So trapped inside, not able to raise door, I used a metal pry bar to pry one side up bending the bottom panel, and up enough to crawl out. Hayden, a competent Garage Door repairman, came out to perform the estimate, crawling under Door to do that. (I had 16 estimates done with 4 refusing to crawl through space of 18"!) So they rebent Door straight, installed a Tension Bracket to panel, tightened both Torsion Springs and replaced some hinges! All for a price under what we agreed on! They were excellent and above what I consider Exceptional! I honor that "Yes" worked with me AND my Landlord to do this! Even after a 7 months delay of the Landlord returning from out of country trip. "Yes Garage Door Repair Services" are the BEST!!!!”

“Very happy with Alan, the tech. Totally professional work and attitude. Was pleased that they were here to replace a broken garage door spring as a “next call” since the door was unusable. I worked with another tech from same company at least 10 years ago and was as happy with the service, so looks like this company can be trusted for quality work and customer satisfaction.”

Larry Lewis

“Very prompt. Great work. Friendly service. Good value. Not much else to add. Likely saved us from having to replace garage door.”

“I purchased a new garage door opener from your company approximately one year ago for just under $2,000. Recently, I received a call from your office advising me that it was time for my annual maintenance service. Unfortunately, the scheduling experience was very disappointing. My first appointment was scheduled with a four-hour Saturday service window but was canceled because the technician’s previous job ran longer than expected. I agreed to reschedule for the following Saturday, again with a four-hour window, only to have that appointment canceled because there were no technicians available. When your office requested a third appointment, I initially declined because I had already devoted two consecutive Saturdays waiting for service that never happened. The representative was persistent and assured me I would be the first appointment of the day at 9:00 a.m., so I reluctantly agreed. The technician arrived promptly at 9:00 a.m. He informed me that my roller balsl needed to be replaced, explaining that they typically last three to four years and that mine was in its fourth year. He quoted me $250 for the replacement and offered a $50 discount since he was already onsite. Based”

marisol morales

“Ask them check why it made noise even the previous repair was made 4 mths ago. Once anyone called service, he should pay the money. I do not feel good.”

Yoo Myung

“They did an excellent job on my garage door. Arrived on time, friendly, professional, clean and even helped me program my opener that I had been struggling with. Can’t say enough good things!”

Alberto Placencia

“Excellent service. He explained the problems and showed what damage was caused to create the damage. Carlos was professional, friendly and completed job within 1 hr.”

Cassandra Lewis

““Scam Alert!” “Scam Alert!” They advertised a garage door tune-up for $60, but the service did not match what was promised. The technician only sprayed WD-40 on the hinges and then started asking for additional money to “balance the door” and for other work. When I questioned what a tune-up included—like adjustments and preventive maintenance—he said the $60 only covered a basic safety check. This feels like a bait-and-switch tactic: they advertise a low price to get in the door, then pressure you into paying more while doing minimal actual work. Be careful—this is misleading and not worth the money.”

“This is a great company. I called and received prompt service. Troy is a great technician— he arrived early and diagnosed the problem quickly. He had all the parts on his truck and my garage door was operational very quickly. Highly recommend!!”

“⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 Star) I had a very disappointing experience with this company. The technician was extremely unprofessional and rude from the moment he arrived. He didn’t even let me fully explain the problem before insisting that my entire garage door opener motor and guide rail needed to be replaced. He quoted me $730 for the repair. Wanting a second opinion, I had another technician inspect the opener. It turned out that the only part that needed replacement was the belt drive trolley kit, and the entire repair cost me just $130. To make matters worse, the technician spent barely two minutes looking at the opener, complained several times about the heat, and then charged me a service fee just to tell me something I already knew. I understand that service calls have fees, but customers deserve an accurate diagnosis, professionalism, and the opportunity to explain the issue without being dismissed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.”

“Although Carlos did a goid job, I felt the price was very high and much more than expected, I was quoted $1100.00, final bill was over $1300.00”

“⭐️ 1 Star — Complete Scam and Awful Customer Service I scheduled what was supposed to be a $59 tune-up special after speaking with Chris, who confirmed the price through text. When the technician arrived, he went straight into my garage and started working — never once mentioned that the service would actually cost $379. When he finished, he suddenly told me the total was $379! I showed him my text messages with Chris clearly stating $59, but they didn’t care. The technician even said, “That’s how they get you,” and laughed — unbelievable. They also asked me to give my credit card numbers over the phone, which felt completely unsafe and suspicious. I refused and paid in cash only because I didn’t trust them at all. To make things worse, I never received a receipt, and now Chris has blocked my number so he doesn’t have to own up to his lies and false advertising. Absolutely terrible experience, dishonest company, and a complete scam. Stay far away!”

“Ethan was GREAT! He was very knowledgeable and explained things well. I could not be happier! My garage door is like new.”

John Pafford

“Hayden was Great he did an excellent job got the door fixed in no time we will call again when needed Thanks for your Service !!”

John Moreno

“Do not recommend! I requested the $69 tune up service. Of course when the tech gets there, he recommends that I need something that’s not covered. I agree to it. Upon leaving he tells me that a popping sound that the door now makes while in motion is due to something else new I need when this popping noise was originally not there prior to the service call. Mind you, the only issues I had with this door was squeaking, the door is only 2 years old. I called within the 30 day window to get another tech to come out for a second opinion. A manager calls me back and basically tells me there is nothing they really can do and that the original tech is saying this is a “foundation” issue, I need to buy a bracket and she can’t send out another tech to come look. So I’ve gone from a $69 tune up for only a squeaky door to almost $300 at the end of service, now I need a bracket? The manager that called was rude. She kept trying to explain why someone shouldn’t have to come out when the warranty clearly states if I have questions to call and someone will come back. No questions asked. I would recommend some other company. Rude customer service and now I have issues with my door that I did not ”

“I would call them again if I actually needed service on my door, but probably not for a tuneup. Tech came out and watched the garage door go up and down a few times. He then sprayed it with lubricant. Suggested that we change wheels out to plastic ones that are supposed to glide better. We chose not to. Actual labor was about 5 to 10 minutes. I would ask them to check and tighten screws if needed. We paid $60 for their tuneup special”

Mary

“Bright young man who really knew just what to do to make everything work perfectly. He did a great job and was very professional.”
