She was patient and made me fill at ease by offering me options of repair or new purchase which was my choice. She gave me estimates of different repairs and a new purchase (just in case) which helped with the uncertainty of cost. The prices that were given were extremely fair and much less than I expected. She also set up an appointment for the next day, first thing in the morning. This was great! The following day, Ryan ( the technician) was on time and his level of customer service was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain the workings of my unit and what I needed to do to keep it going for years to come. At first, I wanted to buy a new unit and Ryan explained to me what the problem was and it was a quick inexpensive repair. He could have agreed with me and taken our money but he didn't. “My overhead door spring broke causing me to have to do the GI Joe stomach slide under it to get into my house. Fortunately my car was already out. I got on Yelp and found Overhead Door. They had good reviews and I like to keep local businesses in business, so I called them 15 minutes before they were closing and they answered! I got set up for two days later and Ryan arrived right on time to get me fixed up. I can’t say enough good things about him!! He was so meticulous and kind and explained what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. I hadn’t had a chance to move my dogs into another room and he was so kind to let them check him out and gave them some pets on the way to the garage. Customer service has been lacking these days so when you find someone awesome from a place that is fair and reasonable, you need to get it out there. In addition, my door is so quiet I have to be extra alert now in case my teen decides to sneak out of the house. Local, reasonable, professional and kind. I’d use them again in a heartbeat!”

I had the roofing contractor use his preferred company to replace the garage door when hail damage ruined both but the door ended up not opening smoothly. But Greg from Overhead Door came to my rescue again and greased the hinges and showed me how to do it for the recommended every 6 months. “Have an overhead door legacy 850. Called and spoke to Ed about a remote for it. He was very friendly and nice. I drove in, talked to Ed, and purchased the remote for~$50. Ed stated programming consisted of pushing the program button on the opener once and then the remote button multiple times until it opened. After going home, that didn't work. I downloaded/ read the manual, and now know you have to press and hold the program button for 2 seconds until the Blue LED has a long flash and the purple LED quickly flashes twice. Then go >5 get away from opener and very slowly depress the remote open button (twice). It confirms program and opens on third press. The remote costs 28$ on Amazon with one day delivery, and I would have been fine with paying almost double that if I had been provided some correct instructions. One star due to selling product double market price and providing incorrect instructions.”

I was told that no adjustments could be made and didn’t need to see it to know. When asked to elevate the issue to a supervisor, I was hung up on. I finally got to a person who identified themselves as ‘D’ a manager, but same refusal to even come look at my issue. I wasn’t treated with respect and just got excuses on why they wouldn’t do anything. On the positive side, at least I found this out right off the bat so I didn’t waste my hard earned money there.”

“Poor service, sent a toddler to throw a tantrum instead of securing the flimsy sensors on the garage that if bumped by dog it comes out of alignment. Demonstrated the problem and the tech started yelling that I didn’t demonstrate it right and stormed off. Called owner and he said get someone else to fix it and that sensor is 6 months old and you will get no money back. They have been out 3 times and failed to secure their cheap product. They used to use screws to secure them in 2009 now they used plastic pegs that will not hold.”
