Those guys are nothing but scammers trying to rip off this name and wanted to charge more than double and lied about springs not being available. There was a little miss communication between technician office and myself at first, but between Laura and Stratton they followed through on exactly what they promised and more! “Eight O'clock at night and we have two trucks full of ice cream coming in and the cable on our garage door snaps, we cannot get the doors open. Overhead door to the rescue!! Christian and Bradley showed up and saved the day, they were professional, courteous and friendly. They we upfront and transparent with their price and did a great job. “My torsion spring broke and I called about 4 or 5 small businesses to have it replaced.. ranged from $275-$400.. I was in disbelief.. So I decided to just YouTube it and go purchase the spring myself.. I arrived at Overhead and inquired about the spring price, just for giggles I asked how much to install... The gentleman at the front desk told me $190 (I Believe) for the spring and Installation.. I had to ask a couple times to be sure.. I'm not sure why I assumed this place was going to be way overpriced.. So I agreed, the technician Bobby came out and was gone in 20 mins! He was very polite, respectful of my family and my property.. He thanks me for my military service and shook my hand.. There's not enough words to share my content with Bobby's professionalism! This will be my #1 place to call next time!! When I offered Bobby a $20 tip, he politely declined and said he was just doing his job!! “Much like many others, I don’t usually take the time to leave negative reviews, but the Overhead Door Company of Lubbock seriously needs to reassess their commitment to customer service. A week prior, I scheduled an appointment for a full-service garage door maintenance. The staff assured me that a technician would arrive on Monday morning between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. However, those hours came and went without any sign of the technician. I had to call three times to get someone out, and while the technician eventually performed the work satisfactorily, they arrived five hours late—without so much as a courtesy call. I contacted the front office to request a partial discount for the inconvenience and was met with outright hostility from their maintenance manager. His exact words were: “I have three techs who do 40 calls a day; it’s not my responsibility to call customers about wait times.” In the end, I paid the full amount but made it clear that others deserve to know how little this company values their customers’ time and satisfaction. I am extremely disappointed and will not be giving them my business again.”

The repair was done acceptably but when working with one of the office staff, Mandee, I made it very clear that I needed an invoice that had the full amount I paid for their services so that I could submit it to insurance but it was apparent to me that as soon as they had my money they weren't going to give me another moment of their time. Mandee said that they emailed it through a portal, I never got a link to any portal where I could access the invoice, and they said they'd send a detailed receipt; and I still never received it. My last email was never responded to and I ended up having to call in again to get someone else who would actually help me, hence the low review you're seeing here. Maybe you'll have better luck but I will not be using a company again that doesn't respect my time.”
