Garrett's Gates and Garage Doors

Garrett's Gates and Garage Doors runs garage door and gate work from Mesquite, Texas as a family-owned outfit. Cory handles the bulk of calls for installations of overhead doors and gate operators along with repairs on openers, springs, tracks, and panels. The outfit also converts manual gates to automatic models and upgrades systems on both residential and commercial properties across listed towns.

Customers describe Cory installing LiftMaster gate operators after full walkthroughs and fixing automatic gates that stopped working from added weight or cold snaps. He has replaced entire opener motors and keypads to allow phone control, swapped chain drives for belt drives on old units, and repaired doors damaged by vehicles. Other jobs include spring replacements on garage doors, low-cost upgrades that improve gate performance, and full diagnostics that avoid swapping out working torque master setups.

Cory shows up on time for scheduled work and handles emergency calls the next day or sooner when possible. He texts back promptly to answer questions, lays out repair options without pressure, and keeps job sites clean once finished. Pricing stays lower than expected on most jobs while covering towns such as Wylie, Allen, Dallas, Frisco, Garland, Murphy, Parker, Plano, Richardson, and Rockwall.

Google shows a perfect five-star mark across 42 reviews with steady notes on Cory's clear explanations, tidy results, and ability to finish jobs the same day without added fees. Reviewers keep mentioning his schedule flexibility and solid fixes that hold up over time.

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Installation & Service I recently had Cory with Garrett’s Gates and Garage Doors install a LiftMaster 98032 gate operator at my property, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, Cory was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly detail-oriented. He took the time to explain the system, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything was installed correctly and operating flawlessly before he left. The workmanship was top-notch, the job site was left clean, and the installation looks as good as it performs. What impressed me most was Cory’s communication and expertise. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about doing the job right the first time. The LiftMaster 98032 operates smoothly, quietly, and exactly as promised. If you’re looking for someone to install, repair, or service garage door and gate systems, I highly recommend Garrett’s Gates and Garage Doors. Finding a contractor who is honest, reliable, and highly skilled is rare these days, and Cory checks every box. I’ll absolutely be using him again for any future garage door or gate system needs. — Anthony Ra”

“Garrett’s gate is a great company. On time, completed work quickly and quality was excellent. Will use again and recommend them”

“Absolutely in a league of his own. Came to us by referral and he immediately responded, diagnosed the issue and did not try to convince us to replace both doors torque master like the other big names do, was priced almost too kindly - he deserved more than what he charged. He was out the very next day and provided a full diagnostic overview and made sure he inspected the rest of the set up without trying to charge us for the laundry list of charges the last company I dealt with did. I was almost skeptical when he told me the cost ( I’m not rich so to do all he did I was expecting 3X or more than what he gave me. Literal Godsend. As a realtor I deal with so many contractors and Garrett and my ac guys are the only ones who truly go way above and beyond and make hard situations like this one turn into a happy moment- seeing true good being done instead of an anxiety filled, crushing event. Thank you so so so much. Please use this gentleman. Even provided a 3 year warranty- AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!!”

“I feel very lucky to have met Corey. I was given his contact information after installing a new gate on my old gate mechanism. He got it up and running and made me feel comfortable that it was salvageable. Unfortunately, between the extreme cold and a little bit of extra weight from the new gate it started to mess up. Corey came by multiple times and tried his best to get it working properly. I ended up having him install a brand new gate opening system. He is great at communicating and answers his texts very promptly. He did a great job with the new mechanism and was very tidy. I highly recommend him.”
