“I never have had to leave a bad review for a material supplier but this one had me. In short it was probably my fault for not checking the order thoroughly when they delivered. 1. they didn’t give me a heads up before they delivered as they said they would. So when I got the call they were on site dropping close to 5k in materials I went there as quickly as possible to unload. 2. They do not unload materials which isn’t a big deal if I would’ve known that and had a heads up to plan for my guys to be on site to help. 3. (This is the most frustrating) I didn’t fully check the order ticket thoroughly but I noticed right off the bat that the end caps were missing so he noted it down but I didn’t notice that I was missing all of the head trim so when I noticed today (a day after delivery) I called immediately and was told by the lady that I signed for it and it’s my fault and that the end caps were delivered also even though the driver wrote it down on his ticket that they weren’t. Completely unprofessional. I hate to say it because I am also a business owner and I know it can be tough with bad reviews but this was a terrible experience for us.”

“I bought inch and a quarter square tubing to make corral panels. Paid to get cut certain lengths. Paid close to seven hundred dollars but they cut 80 percent of them either a quarter short or 7/16 long. They also had three people helping but I guess they didn’t know how to use a tape measure. If they at least an eight inch short it would be okay because the welding rod would cover the gap when welding but a quarter short or half an inch long is ridiculous. I did go on a Saturday close to being close but that’s no excuse to do a bad job. Called to speak to someone and never got a call back.”

“People need to double check the orders got screwed on my roofing metal. Ordered 40 sheets and got 38. Basic counting. When I picked up my order it was wrapped up in plastic. I was rushed off the property before I could verify that my order was correct. Now I know why I was rushed!! When I contacted them to straighten the situation out, the only response I got was and I quote "take us to court", I am very disappointed in way they handle complaints. They wouldn't let me uncover the metal so I could get a accurate count. Never again will i return or recommend Affinity Steel.”

“I got the metal for my roof from Affinity two years ago. Everything was great. I guess we picked it up ourelves I ordered one sheet of siding and 2 pieces of trim to finish the back of a trailer. First it took 3 weeks for it to be ready, and then I didn't have a truck to pick it up. The site was literally half a block from the shop but they charged me $50 to deliver. And on top of that they couldn't unload a piece of siding and some trim so I am still waiting. So that I can unload it myself on my day off. It seems like it might be a whole different crew than when I reroofed the house.”
