What Customers Say
“The Home Depot flooring department @ store #6543 was wonderful in assisting me with making my carpet choice. They made the process super simple. I was worried it would be overwhelming to make a decision. But they listened to my parameters for choosing flooring, made the arrangements for the measurements & installation quickly and efficiently, and got me the best possible price. I was quite pleased. My new carpet was installed yesterday and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Home Depot!”
“My project was a complicated tankless water heater replacement and Home Depot connected me with same day water heaters. They did a good job and left the space they worked better than they found it. The price was right there with the other bids.”
“We couldn't be happier with our new floors! From start to finish, the team was professional, punctual, and paid close attention to every detail. Their craftsmanship is outstanding, and the finished product completely transformed our home. They kept everything clean, communicated throughout the process, and made sure we were 100% satisfied. If you're looking for quality work and excellent customer service, I highly recommend them. Thank you for doing such an amazing job!”
“This was the best home contractor experience ever. The service group kept me informed every step of the way; the carpet installation team arrived on time, installed the new carpet, cleaned up after themselves, and the work looks flawless. Thank you so much!”
“JUSHENG 26.77 in. 4 Light Chrome LED Bathroom Vanity Light with 5 CCT Adjustable Switch These lights are everything! Makes my vanity bright. They do have adjustable lumens as well. Highly recommend.”
“The installation company that Home Depot works with is great. My Home Depot store when I called them with an issue were so fast acting and communicative and helpful. The only complaint I have is the communication leading up to getting my floors delivered and how long it took to get everything going. And then the scheduling process was not the most efficient. I had to be very flexible”
“Large inventory and impeccable logistics for professional material pickup. At WK Renovol Home LLC, we rely on this Houston sourcing point to ensure the highest quality finishes and space design for our clients. Highly recommended!”
“The folks working the floor are great. After dealing with the installation coordinator and RFInstallation, this would be the last store that I would go to for a home improvement project. I will contact the store manager and hope that he can listen to how rude the lady is on the phone.”
“I’ve been coming to this Home Depot location for 4–5 years, and until now I’ve generally had decent experiences. Unfortunately, my visit on 12/18/25 around 11:18 AM completely changed how I feel about this store. I was trying to use my Home Depot credit card, which I didn’t have physically with me. The cashier, Gabrielle, asked for ID to look up my account. I first offered a photo of my ID, which she declined. I then provided my physical U.S. passport, a federal government-issued ID, and she stated that it was “not an ID” and refused to accept it. My wife also offered her temporary state-issued ID printout, which was also refused. Gabrielle then called a manager named Jocelyn, who backed her up and stated—very dismissively—that they could “get fired” for accepting those forms of ID. The way this was explained came off as condescending and unprofessional, as if I was doing something wrong. What really bothered me is that another manager was later contacted and confirmed that a passport is acceptable ID, but by then I had already paid cash just to get out of there. This wasn’t about policy as much as it was about poor training and attitude. A U.S. passport is one of the highest f”
“Erik did amazing with our install and Henry went above and beyond to resolve our issues and kept a direct line of communication open.”
“Arrived as scheduled. Installed according to plan. Very respectful father and son. Minimal disruption. Looks great!”
“Great work. Excellent communication. Cleaned up after work was completed.”
“Very satisfied. They did a great job.”
“HOME DEPOT CONTRACT SUPPORT SUCKS!! Home depot in general is a great store not for customer service but rather because everything you need to do a home repair is readily available in store. But, if you need contract work, you would be better off not relying on Home Depot support. There were 2 seperate occasions where we needed someone to provide us a quote on work we wanted performed in our home. Both occasions a contractor/ associate worker was supposed to come out to inspect the work we wanted done and take measurements so that we may be provided a quote. We were stood up both times. The kitchen cabinets we wanted to redo last year after being stood up by Home Depot we didn't take personal because we were simply price shopping at the time. Last weekend (Oct. 2015) we were interested in getting screen doors added to the front and back doors of our home and also wanted to replace our front door. We were told in order for this to take place we would need to have a Home Depot contract/associate come out to take measurements. An appointment was set for Monday between the times of 5-7pm but to my surprise no one showed AGAIN. Canceling plans so that I may be home to wait for someon”
“Is there such thing as a negative star? I wish somehow there was. I am about to celebrate the one year anniversary of attempting to have a fully functional front door. During the original ordering process, there was an error and my order was lost and we had to redo it when I checked on the status. If only I knew that this would be the first in a series of disappointments. The door was installed by Home Depot installers and they seemed very competent. At the very end, my electronic locking mechanisms was hitting up against the frame. The installers tried to fix the issues but they took a series of measurements and told me that door was bored incorrectly and that the mechanism was too close to the jamb. They wrote this in the install notes and informed me that someone from the store would call me but that his recommendation was that I would need a new door. After waiting several days, I went to the store to check on the status. No one had actually checked the notes or had been informed. The person apologized profusely and told me that they would contact the door manufacturer. I was told that it would take several weeks to make a new door since it was custom. They would cal”
“The store is fine, but we went though an awful experience with the carpet installation process. Horrible customer service. We ended up cancelling our order and going with 5 star flooring, who did an awesome job on our carpet. Lesson learned.”
“This is solely on ARS services. Home Depot signed me up for $30 Diagnostic check (my AC was going out so I applied) thru their partner ARS that never called to check up on appointment, sent a guy out at 9pm (scheduled at 5pm), then claimed that there is a leak (AC/house is only 5 years old) and capacitor is giving out. He charged me $300 for 5 lbs Freon and attempted to charge $300 for a new capacitor that a place right down the road on 35 cost $30 to do myself.”
