“9-17-2025: Hi quality work Sean thank you. 9-18-2025: Hmm, next day, we wanted to ensure WiFi was reset, watched a video, supposed to do long hold on the yellow button three times then hear I think it was 3 fast beeps. The door operated when we opened it. Then went to close it, and heard an awful noise. The assembly that is mounted to the wall holding the chain assembly that goes back to the motor, came out of the wall completely. 1) The screws look like they have white drywall on them. I'm not sure the new mount was secured to a wood frame? 2) The brackets that hold the motor don't seem very stable, I can wobble the motor easily. Perhaps they should be fanned out some towards the outer edges of the bracket to help reduce lateral motion? This LiftMaster sounds more powerful than our old Marantec 4500 model I think it was. 3) We added a tie wrap for security to prevent someone on the outside from fishing the disconnect lanyard, I don't believe that should cause any issues at all. We have called and they plan to send a technician out this afternoon. UPDATE: Sean is here working on things. The work is complete and the door is operating correctly. “I had a roller pop out of the rail, so I called Nexa, and they promptly sent their tech, Daniel. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Upon inspection, he discovered that the door’s wire hinge was close to breaking due to poor installation by the original home manufacturers. They had also installed a cheap, flimsy door with plastic rollers, which were noisy and didn’t operate smoothly. Daniel not only fixed the hinge issue but also recommended upgrading the rollers to higher-quality ones for a smoother, quieter operation with less wear and tear. He also added an extra support bar to one of the door panels that had started to bend. Excellent service!”
