“I had First Call to replace both of my garage doors, one single and one double. To get to the final contract I dealt with Sandra who is their office manager, very pleasant and easy to work with. They used doors from one of very reputable doors mfg., new heavy duty torsion springs, and Lift Master openers (best in class). The installer had more than 20 years of experience in trade and it was clear, if he wanted to, he could do it all with his eyes closed. He adjusted and calibrated both systems, and also reprogrammed our 2 cars to operate both openers. I am very pleased with the results and can recommend First Call Garage Door wholeheartedly.”

Replaced the 1 big coil spring, that snapped late last night, with 2 coils then reqound the side cables back on theb spools. Better and more evenly distributed weight and now a 3year warranty. From start to finish, the customer service was extremely poor, and to make matters worse, the repair was not done correctly. Communication was a major issue. Calls and messages were either ignored or returned late, and when I did get responses, they were unprofessional and dismissive. There was no sense of accountability or urgency, even after I explained that the repair had not resolved the problem. The technician completed what was supposed to be a repair, but the garage door continued to malfunction shortly afterward. It was clear the issue was either misdiagnosed or not properly fixed. When I reached back out to have it addressed, the company was unhelpful and unwilling to take responsibility for their work. Overall, this felt like a rushed job with no concern for quality or customer satisfaction. I expected a professional repair and reliable service, but instead I was left with the same problem and wasted time and money. The first time the owner came out, he diagnosed the problem as a bad spring bar and charged me $450 to replace it with a so called heavy duty spring bar along with new door rollers. This was an overpriced repair to begin with, and the same issue continued even after the work was completed. About six months later, the problem returned again. The owner, Michael, came back out and claimed my foundation had shifted within a matter of months. He added shims to the garage door to help it close and also insisted that the spring bar he previously replaced was bad. I only agreed to replace it in the first place because he diagnosed it as the cause of the door not closing properly. The door would come within about a foot of closing and then retract. Fast forward to 2026. Despite spending around $1,000 on repeat visits for the same unresolved issue, I am still experiencing the exact same problem more than three years later. When I contacted the owner to explain that his repairs were subpar and never resolved the issue, he was rude a”
