Gutter Tex

Gutter Tex runs gutter work out of Cibolo, Texas. Dan Ouellette and Dan Schaeffer own the company, which focuses on installation, cleaning, repair, guards, downspouts, fascia work, and related exterior services for homes in the area. The team draws on over fifteen years of combined construction and home service experience to handle projects from start to finish.

Homeowners describe full gutter replacements on two-story houses, sections replaced after rotted wood, leaf guard additions, and fixes for elevation or drainage issues near foundations. Crews such as Marcelo and Andrew, Brian and Javier, George, Jose and Lido, and others finish jobs in a few hours, keep yards neat, match paint to blend with house exteriors, and handle the work even when owners are away. Reviewers note the crews map out the layout first, clean as they go, and leave the site ready without extra follow-up visits.

They send detailed quotes with photos and material breakdowns, answer questions quickly through email, and schedule around busy calendars without pressure tactics. Pricing comes in competitive with veteran discounts noted in some cases, and the crews communicate arrival times and job length ahead of time. Work covers Cibolo and nearby spots in the San Antonio and Austin metro areas, with owners like Alex stepping in on tougher sites to keep timelines and budgets on track.

Reviews give strong marks for clear communication, solid workmanship, and tidy results across dozens of installs and repairs. The company holds a 4.9 rating from 168 reviews on Google. DIRT Score 4.7 from 168 reviews on Finds.

“Marcelo and Drew, gutters install team, worked as a fine oiled machine in the blistering Texas heat without complaining or showing any sign of fatigue. They put up my gutters in record time. They were respectful and are very knowledgable in their field. Gutter Tex should be your gutter company, Armando sends….”

“Gutter Tex did a good job completing the project at my house. I have a two story and needed all gutters. They were forthcoming, communicated often, and made sure to clear up any kind of questions I had along the process. My schedule is very tight. The company was patient and was willing to do a lot of communicating through email weeks before the project commenced. The owner Alex was fantastic. Dan was the person that coordinated the entire process. Both did a great job. One of the greatest benefits about this company is that they can work on your gutters if you are not home. This was very beneficial for me since I work so much. They took care of my property, kept everything neat, and completed the job as requested. Thanks Again!”

“I am very pleased with the installation crew Marcelo and Andrew. They arrived as scheduled and promptly started setting up and mapping out the task at hand. Once installation started they worked well as a team and knew their jobs well. Clean up was done as they progressed and made sure everything was perfect when they finished. I would recommend Gutter-Tex and Marcelo and Andrew to anyone needing this type of work done. Thanks guys for the great job.”

“Communication was fast & efficient, the quote we received was so much more extensive than others and easy to understand. Installation went smoothly and we are very happy with the results. We got several quotes and Gutter Tex had the best prices around!”

“Had a very positive experience with Gutter Tex; they were recommended to us by members of the Bluffview Neighborhood and we want to pass the recommendation along to the next customer in need; Marcelo and Andrew did a great job on the installation”

“I just got my Gutters installed on the Front and Back of my home from Gutter Tex and George was awesome. It didn't take him long at all. George was very professional and explained the process before he started and advised he will let me know once the job was completed. It took him less than two hours to complete everything and once the job was completed George did a final him walk through with me, explaining everything he did and he told me he will send pictures of the mesh wire on top of the Roof when they leave, which he did send to me within a few minutes after they left. My Gutters look so AMAZING and I'm glad I got the leaf filter guard to go along with it. Gutter Tex matched up the Gutter color almost perfect to the exterior of my home, so I am very pleased with the final outcome. Also, Gutter Tex price was the cheapest out of all 3 quotes I received, which was about 30% cheaper than the other 2 companies that gave me quotes. IF you were thinking about getting Gutters, use Gutter Tex, you won't be disappointed.”

“Gutter Tex did an excellent job installing gutters on my home. The team was professional, detail-oriented, and took their time to make sure everything was done correctly. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and a great customer experience. I would like to appreciate the following for a job well done: Daniel, Chris, Martello, and Andrew.”

“The new gutters installed, by Brian and Marcello, look great. These installers were great to work with and answered all of my questions during their time at the house. Everything went as expected. Now all we need is a bit of rain to see how they work. Thanks you Gutter Tex!”

“I had an amazing experience with Gutter Tex! Javier and Gabriel were in charge of my install which went flawless and I love the way they all look. I couldn’t be happier with the deal. Prior to install, the service was also great, and I can tell they run a great company top to bottom. Would recommend to anyone and everyone”

“We had Gutter-Tex install seamless aluminum 6" gutters on our house recently (September 2026) and couldn't be happier with their service, professionalism, and especially how great our new gutters look. The elevation at the front of our house required an additional crew and equipment, but the owner Alex stepped up to ensure it was done on time and on budget. A big shout out to installers Jose and Lido for getting it done right. They were pros at rigging their equipment for the severe elevation and even adjustments to the design to accomodate our concerns about erosion near the foundation. I hightly recommend Gutter-Tex if you need new gutters. My thanks to Alex the Great, Jose, Lido, and the other crew that helped get it done. Well done, Gutter-Tex!”

“Gutter Tex provided a very detailed and professional proposal compared to others we reviewed. Their team clearly took the time to evaluate how water flows across the roof and included thoughtful design elements like proper downspout placement and valley protection. The quote itself was well organized and gave me confidence that they are focused on performance, not just installation. Communication was solid, and they answered questions clearly during the process. If you’re comparing multiple companies, Gutter Tex stands out for taking a more complete, system-based approach rather than just quoting gutters.”

“I was very impressed with the detailed estimate, the response time to my questions and concerns, their reasonable pricing and veteran's discount, as well as their patience as any delays were solely on my part. I appreciated the no pressure salesmanship as well. I was especially impressed with Marcelo and Andrew, the installation team. They kept me informed of any delays and arrived on time. They were very courteous, the workmanship is superb and their enthusiasm is refreshing. Thank you Marcelo and Andrew for a job well done and thank you Dan-O for a positive experience!”

“Keith, Marcelo & Andrew did such a great job with the initial installation job that I called them back to to clean and install the leaf guards.”

“Javier & Adrian did an outstanding job with our gutter installation. These guys were diligent, and knocked out the whole house in 1 day. Great job.”

“Gutter Tex did an outstanding job installing our new gutters. Marcelo and his assistant were very professional and friendly. They arrived on time and completed the job in less than 4 hours. They even matched the paint so that the gutters seamlessly blend in with the exterior of the house. Their price was very reasonable compared to other quotes we got. If you need gutters, Gutter Tex is your best solution in my opinion. Thanks for a job well done!”

“We had Gutter Tex install gutters and couldn’t be happier with the experience. They showed up exactly when they said they would, the workmanship was great, and they left the yard spotless when the job was finished. Pricing was very competitive as well. Big thanks to Emiliano, Marcelo, and Brian for making the whole process smooth and easy. Highly recommend!”

“I did my due diligence and received quotes from multiple area gutter installers. I chose Gutter Tex for several reasons. Their estimate process was easy and straightforward. There were no high-pressure sales tactics to up-sell unwanted additions. Their quote was very well documented with pictures showing the proposed layout of the gutters and downspouts on our home and a breakdown of all the materials and charges. Their prices were reasonable for the standard gutter type (6-inch K-style). The Gutter Tex scheduling process was also straightforward. We received email confirmation of the proposal acceptance. Then the Gutter Tex team emailed us with a series of dates to choose from. As the chosen install date approached, they maintained contact through email to ensure we understood when the install team was scheduled to arrive and also to keep us informed of any potential delays. This included emails from the install team to give us their estimated arrival time on the day of install. The installation day arrived and Marcelo and Andrew were on the job bright and early. They worked efficiently and installed our gutters and downspouts flawlessly. The end product matched the proposal plans.”

“Gutter Tex provided outstanding service from the estimate down to the installation. We received a few other quotes and Gutter Tex was clearly the best choice. Marcelo and Brian knocked it out in a couple of hours. They were professional and efficient. It was a seamless experience all together. Highly, highly recommended. Thank you guys. I’m saving your contact info.”

“We had a section of guttering falling off due to rotted wood so Gutter Tex removed the old stuff and replaced with new wood and gutters. Micah did a nice job with the carpentry and worked with install crew to complete the job. The team work was awesome.”

“Marcelo, Brian and Andrew were my gutter techs. They were professional, quick, and clean. Had great communication of the time they planned on arriving and how long the job would take. My gutters look really nice, and am very happy with my with the completed job!! I would recommend them for your gutter needs!”
