“What a JOY! I'm not even sure where to begin. My yard had been decimated by soil erosion (lost about 6 inches over a 10-year period), neighboring tree roots, moles, growing trees in and around that had created a ton more shade, overrun by weeds and then overtreated with pre-emergent until it was just this side of a deserted lot that filled the sidewalk every time the sprinklers went off trying to save what was left in my flower beds. (And ultimately a rightly-served uh-oh from the HOA.) I was connected to Splendid Gardens through a local realtor friend (@Heather Schmidt) and from my first time meeting with Splendid Gardens it was ON. Owner Elizabeth was a delight and a professional to work with. She took time to listen to my concerns, what I had tried over the last several years and what I did and didn't like, and what I did and didn't want. I knew this wasn't going to be done cheaply - either literally or figuratively. I had invested what I thought was a decent amount 10 years prior in putting a pool in some backyard hardscaping and landscaping around it, but didn't think about investing same in the rest of the backyard, much less the front yard. “Every aspect of my recent landscape design and installation was fantastic. My designer, Kate Duff, has an artist's eye, an actual Master Gardener's knowledge and landscape designer's expertise. We are thrilled with our new yard, and working with Kate is a delight. The crew was extremely professional- led by David- beat landscape crew I've ever had. They were spot on time, worked so alillfully, and lwft evwrytjing perfectly clean after each day's work. They did a tremendous job installing new and greatly improved drainage, yard soil, sod, new soil in beds, plants, a dry creek bed, and moved an old pile of flagstone and created beautiful walkways! My designer came up with so many creative and cost- saving ideas, always maintaining the highest quality. I would not hesitate to give the highest recommendation to Splendid Gardens. “So pleased with the work done by Splendid Gardens! They removed and installed new Zoysia sod in my backyard, extended my 10 x 10 patio by putting in 2 rows of concrete pavers & decomposed granite, providing a much larger space. The sod has filled in very nicely and is soft, green and lush. The crew also updated front & back flower beds. Oh and everyone needs a Splendid bowl. I love everything about it ♥️”
