“Awesome company we had a few issues with the final product but the owner wouldn't accept our money until he made the changes we wanted, his final product was great but from our last fence we wanted a few add on's we felt would help with longevity of the fence. “I had them give me a bid. They showed up the next morning which if they did everything the web site says they do they should have been busy for weeks. They showed up and use my material and most of my tools to do the job. They Destroyed my fence materials and now it will be taken to the next level to have them reimburse us for the material they destroyed. I have pic's of the 2 guys who came out to my home and as they did the job plus picks of all the damages they did to my fence. I have had 4 real fence companies come out look at there work and have written reports to state all the damages and what it will cost to remove and replace the damaged fence materials. “Our Fence turned out great, we had one issue with the ground shifting a little a year after installation and A-1 made it out about 2 weeks after the issue was addressed and dug up around the post that shifted added more concrete and adjusted the gate. they suggested we water our ground on a regular basis and we have not had the issue arise again, we offered to pay them for the adjustment and they refused. Very satisfied with A-1 Texas”

“There are not enough stars to rate this company. Dustin was the most real person ive ever met. I am a contractor myself and know exactly what to look for as far as cut corners and shody work. Everything he did was on point and measures were taken to prevent any future issues so he wouldnt have to perform any warranty work in the future, ex.. plenty of concrete and pickets nailed at the angles on the gate braces, his regular prices were better than my subcontractors give me at a contractor discounted rate. I plan on using them as fence and stain sub contractors. We now have a personal and business relationship, there was no bs or exaggerations from dustins mouth. His motto was "I like to under promise and over deliver" and that really sums up the attitude of his company and employees, I will be stealing that quote on my future sales pitch. “My fence was a nightmare, I had several fence companies come out and look at my fence, place a bid I thought to be outrageous, but wasn't sure, because I do not build fences for a living. Not to mention I could not get any of the fence companies I received quotes from to return my calls after I got the initial bid and had a few simple questions. I'm guessing the other so called fence companies were scared of my fence, like I said it was a nightmare, covered in vines, wasp nests everywhere, and the worst part, the back of my fence since on a 12ft retaining wall. The side i wanted facing in meant whoever too on the task to do my fence would have to walk along the retaning wall that is no more then 16' wide, and if they were to slip, 12 feet is a pretty nice little fall, especially with a nail gun in your hand. I was about to give up hope and just burn the fence down myself and just have a open yard, UNTIL I contacted A-1 Texas Construction. I would end this review with one word LIFESAVERS, but I won't. He would constantly claim that he was coming the next day, and then the next day came and went and he didn't show up. Finally I just stopped trying to contact the guy and had to move on. “This guy essentially robbed me for a builder grade fence. I paid him for materials up front and then when they were nearly finished, he asked for final payment. I asked if they were going to stain the fence like he had promised and written down in a hand written contract, and he said it was getting late but that he would come back and do it. Well, he never did. Not only that, but the fence does not even match up to my neighbor's fence on the back wall of the fence. So, there is a gap. My neighbors have been nice about it but I'm sure they are frustrated as they have pets and don't want them running all over. I called and texted and called more for Donald, the guy that runs this thing and he never responded. They also left wood plank hanging or extended off the side of the edge of the fence. Like the horizontal beams that were too long that you would ordinarily saw off. He left those. These guys are thieves. Buyer beware. I can't be the only person they have duped.”
