Texas Pro Home Improvement LLC

Texas Pro Home Improvement LLC runs handyman work out of McKinney. Josh handles the jobs with his crew. They take on fence repairs, faucet replacements, painting doors and trim, drywall fixes, electrical work on fans and lights, chimney wood repairs, and mold issues tied to leaks or humidity. They also install panels, bifold doors, hardware, and handle storm damage like crown molding and ceiling leaks. Customers call them for small fixes around the house and bigger updates such as bathroom changes for accessibility or prepping a place to sell.

Reviewers describe Josh and the team fixing a leaning fence in a day, swapping a stuck outdoor faucet and returning free to upgrade it, cutting drywall to confirm no hidden mold, then painting with a resistant type. They repaired poor trim paint from another crew, fixed siding and mortar, installed landscape lights and a chandelier, and restored an office after storm hits. Other jobs included replacing a brick mailbox, adding soft close drawers, fixing gutters and cabinets, and troubleshooting entry lights plus a ceiling fan. Outcomes left walls and fences looking new with no leftover mess.

They show up on time, often the same day or next, and reply fast to calls. Pricing comes in fair and reasonable with clear options explained upfront. Communication stays steady through the job, and they clean as they go. Work happens inside homes even when owners are away, and they cover repeat calls over multiple years for the same customers. Service stays local to the area with quick turnarounds on leaks or fence damage from weather.

“Josh and his team did great work in my dining room. I had a little mold on my ceiling, and he figured out it was coming from the humidity inside, and made double sure by cutting out a piece of drywall showing there was nothing inside my ceiling. What a releif. I also had a ton of cracks from shifting and fixing foundation. He and his team fixed everything, painted very well, and even went out of his way to get a type of paint that is resistant to mold. It is a night and day difference; i never knew there was a problem by looking at the work. Will definitely call him back for future services. Thanks for all your hard work!”

“Josh did a great job, repairing the wood around my chimney. He also trimmed out the siding on my patio. His painter does a meticulous job. Will definitely use him for future jobs.”

“We recently hired Josh for a few projects around the house, and we couldn't be happier with the results. He did an absolutely impeccable job painting our front door—it looks brand new! Josh was meticulous with every step of the process, from sanding and priming to the final coat of paint. He also replaced our door handleset, giving our entryway a fresh, updated look. In addition to the door work, his team was excellent at troubleshooting some electrical issues. They fixed our indoor ceiling fan and resolved problems with the outdoor entry lights quickly and efficiently. Josh was professional, detail-oriented, and a pleasure to work with. We'll definitely be reaching out to him again for any future handyman needs. Highly recommend!”

“Josh and his team did a great job fixing our leaning fence and he put on a new faucet outside that we couldn't take off ourself. His team were quick, professionally, and on time. I would highly recommend him and his team. His pricing also was fantastic. I will give you an example how great he is. He came back today free of charge to put a better faucet on. When he came out yesterday he was only coming out to fix our fence. When I showed him our faucet he only had a cheap faucet in his truck, so he came back today to put a better faucet on. I was not expecting that. Did I mention FREE of anymore charges. He didn't charge me much to put the first one on. What a stand up guy.”

“I am a repeat customer of Texas Pro Home Improvement, LLC for 3 years now and have used them 8 plus times for everything from ready making my condo to sell, repairing my fence, replacing a brick mailbox, and updating things in my new home just to name a few. Whether it’s hanging, fixing or repairing. The quality of their work is outstanding and they never cut corners so you can be assured the work is done right. Estimates for jobs are reasonable and fair. I am always impressed with their professionalism and customer service. They are also trustworthy as I have allowed them to work on my property and inside my home on several occasions without me being present. I highly recommend them for any big or small project you need help with around the house. Here is the most recent project I used them for before and after pictures after a tree fell destroying my fence our last wind storm.”

“Josh did an excellent job installing wooden panels in my living room and bifold doors for my storage area. Honest pricing and good communication. Thanks!”

“Texas Pro Home Improvement came to my rescue when another painter I had hired was doing a subpar job painting the trim on my house. They were able to repair the poor work and get me the result I was hoping for… quickly, efficiently, neatly and affordably. They repaired broken siding and loosened mortar. My new black garage door and front door look elegant next to the spiffy white trim. I’ll definitely be calling on TEXAS PRO HOME IMPROVEMENT again!”

“Josh & his team are great to work with. They are kind, clean up when they are done with the repairs & are very reasonable in their pricing. They also show up on time & communicate well. We have had Texas Pro Home Improvement for a moldy wall repair & to install soft close drawers throughout our home. We also have a quote to re-tile a shower, but my husband & I have to find a tile we can agree on. Highly recommend Texas Pro Home Improvement!!!”

“Josh was fantastic- we had a faucet outside that broke and needed replacement by breaking into the outside brick wall. Not only did Josh replace the faucet, he also beautifully repaired the brick wall. He also came out on Saturday, day after O contacted him, when we had snow and was great with communicating his arrival time, etc. Very reasonably priced was a bonus. Pic is post repair.”

“Josh was referred to us for a leaking toilet issue caused by poor installation by a previous contractor. He came to our home, diagnosed the problem, and presented two repair options, clearly explaining the cost and benefits of each. After we chose the best fit for our needs, Josh worked carefully and meticulously over three days, demonstrating expertise and attention to detail. His work was outstanding, and we were so impressed that I showed him additional projects for future consideration. My wife also appreciated his thorough cleanup during and after the job, leaving the bathroom spotless. I highly recommend Josh—you won’t be disappointed!”
