“My overall experience with Manny’s Handyman Service ended up being about 3 stars. The beginning of the experience was honestly closer to 1 star because of the communication and scheduling confusion. I had been very clear in our messages that I wanted my wooden Wing Chun dummy fixed Friday morning, and I believed the appointment was for the actual repair. When Manny arrived, I found out that the morning visit was considered an estimate first, and he needed to leave and come back later with the necessary tools and supplies. That was very frustrating because I had planned my day around getting the repair completed in the morning. If I had been clearly told beforehand that the first visit was only for an estimate and that the actual repair would happen later, I could have planned accordingly. There was also a small mix-up with the address even though I had provided the correct address beforehand. By itself that would not have been a big deal, but combined with the scheduling issue, it added to the overall frustration. To their credit, when I explained the communication problem, the company listened, apologized for the misunderstanding, and said they would make their estimate and sch”
