About
RENT A MAN DFW runs a handyman operation based in Plano, Texas, that covers the broader DFW area. Homeowners call them for all sorts of property upkeep that falls between a simple fix and a major remodel. Their work centers on repairs to doors, windows, fences, and decks along with installations for things like ceiling fans, shelves, and appliances. In a place like North Texas where weather can beat up exteriors fast, these guys handle the routine jobs that keep everything functional and looking decent without dragging out the process. They also manage furniture moves, gutter work, and small carpentry that shows up often in local homes.
They handle specific jobs like mounting TVs of all sizes, assembling furniture from entertainment centers to bedroom sets, and performing drywall patches or painting touch-ups. One customer had Matt come out for trim work and painting, and the results came out clean with photos to show the difference. Chad has shown up for gutter repairs on integrated patio systems where leaves clog small downspouts, clearing the issue so an older homeowner no longer needs to climb ladders repeatedly. Other calls include plumbing fixes, electrical work on lights, fence gate repairs, and even junk removal from garages or attics when spaces get cluttered. They quote prices over the phone ahead of time and stick to them while working through each task without extra trips.
Customers give top marks for how fast they respond, the solid quality of the fixes, reasonable costs quoted upfront, and clear back-and-forth on details. Reviews mention technicians like Chad going the extra mile with a straightforward approach that puts folks at ease, and Matt delivering on trim and paint jobs at a price that made the customer happy. The crew stays reliable with on-time arrivals and attention to what actually needs doing around the house. DIRT Score 5.0 from 181 reviews on Finds.

“Chad of RENTA MAN DFW did an excellent job of solving a terrible problem with the small rain gutter that is integrated into the patio roof, and is so small that leaves pile up and clog the two equally small downspouts, forcing this 81 year-old lady to climb a ladder several times a year to clean them out. Chad cut bigger holes to dump the leaves out without clogging. And it looks look ... Thank you Chad, mannerly, skilled and fast. He was done in no time at a very reasonable cost for a problem that was worried me for years. THANK YOU CHAD ...”
