Recodes Contractors LLC

Recodes Contractors LLC runs general contracting and handyman work from Sugar Land, Texas. Francisco leads the crews that handle kitchen remodels, bathroom updates, roof repairs, siding fixes, painting, water damage restoration, flooring changes, and property maintenance. They take jobs for HOAs, apartment complexes, property managers, and individual homeowners in the Houston area, focusing on maintenance plans and larger renovation projects with straightforward pricing and flexible scheduling.

Customers report full kitchen overhauls that included new walls, lighting, and electrical work to update older homes. Francisco guided one project through demo changes without delays and delivered clean results on flooring and trim. Other jobs covered carpet to tile swaps in closets, wall and window repairs after leaks, roof fixes, and siding patches that stayed in budget. One bathroom remodel converted a tub to a shower with new fixtures, though brown water later seeped from the curb despite two visits and recaulking. A separate quote request went without written details and no callback.

Crews answer questions the same day, adjust to owner timelines, and finish on schedule even with mid-job shifts. They keep communication direct, show up prepared, and avoid pushing extra costs. Work covers Houston and nearby spots for both quick maintenance orders and bigger remodels, with crews that handle final walkthroughs to check on any remaining items.

Feedback lists a 4.5 Google rating from no reviews on that platform, while other comments note strong marks for timely professional crews and solid renovation outcomes alongside two complaints on warranty follow-up and quote paperwork.

“RECODES completed a full bathroom remodel for us, including converting a tub into a shower and installing all new fixtures. I was told the work came with a two-year warranty. However, about six months later, I began noticing brown water and sludge seeping up from the bottom of the shower curb onto the bathroom floor. I contacted RECODES, and they came out to inspect the issue. They even removed and reinstalled the toilet to rule out a leak. After I had an independent plumber verify that the toilet was not the source of the problem, RECODES returned a second time and simply recaulked the shower with a bluish-tinted caulk. Unfortunately, that did not resolve the issue. More recently, I had two separate remodeling professionals inspect the shower. Both concluded that the shower pan was improperly installed and that the shower floor would need to be completely torn out and replaced at an estimated cost of around $3,000. In addition to the shower issue, the project was somewhat disorganized, with numerous different workers involved throughout the process, and they left a considerable mess along the side of our house. To be fair, the stairs, railing, and balcony they built still look gre”

“If you are looking for home renovations, RECODES is it! We remodeled the kitchen, bathrooms, took down and added walls, added lights, electrical, so a complete home makeover to bring our 90s build up to date. Francisco was the best, he walked us through the entire process, listened to what the vision was and made it happen. Since this was the first renovation for me I had a couple changes during the demo process and Frank assured us that it was no problem and made the updates on the spot. The team was top notch, very efficient and they all had an eye for perfection. This was money well spent for us, and I will definitely call them back for any future projects we have. THANK YOU RECODES!”

“At first the woman who came to quote my home was super professional amd very detailed. I thought this was a legit company. Larer that evening, I got a phone call with random numbers for the quote without officially getting an actual written quote. When I told her that was not going to work because they provided no paperwork with details of what was costing what, she said she would call back and a week later still never heard back. Bogus company. Do not use.”

“I recommend this company to anyone looking for honest and affordable work. We only needed our siding and trim printed but was able to a bit more and stayed within our budget. The team also repaired some siding on our roof which was much needed. Will do repeat business for sure!”
