About

Chain Saw Mechanical works from Houston, Texas as an HVAC contractor handling heating, ventilating and air conditioning needs across the local area. The business operates as A/W Mechanical Services LP and serves commercial projects after joining the Procore network in July 2023. They focus on specialty contracting work with an average project value near thirteen million dollars and currently hold five active projects in the region. Houston weather brings heavy demands on cooling systems that this crew addresses through standard HVAC installation and maintenance for office buildings and similar facilities.

Technicians such as Tom step in to handle service calls when other shops turn customers away, much like the help George Werner received during a tough spot. Mark L Smith noted the staff provides clear guidance on equipment needs and keeps higher end options like Milwaukee and Ridgid available for quick pickup or order. Brandon Vogt walked in and received direct answers on what was required without extra steps. Jared Esquivel brought in a circular saw for repair that took longer than the three weeks first quoted, stretching into October with no resolution yet, though the overall pattern shows most visits end with the needed parts or fixes in place.

Customers keep coming back because the crew shows up on time, explains options plainly, and charges fairly for commercial HVAC work in Houston without dragging jobs out. Speed and communication stand out in the feedback, along with solid results on system repairs that keep buildings running through the heat. Price stays reasonable compared to bigger outfits, and quality holds up across repeat commercial jobs. DIRT Score 4.1 from 31 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Malcom supply seems to be a nice place if you want to buy a brand new tool but I highly recommend to not get any tools fixed here. I brought in a circular saw for repair the second week of August, they claimed it would be fixed it 3 weeks . It is now the third week of October and they still have no clue when they are going to place an order for parts . They told they did have parts for a impact drill I needed a repair so I let them fix , it's cost $20 which is cheaper than buying a whole new tool but the day after I pick it up, I only get about 3 screws in and the drill breaks again where they put new parts on. I'm not sure what they have going on there but they seem to be very unorganized and like to waste people's time . They did give me refund but I'll never use them or recommend the for tool repair ever again

I have found Malcom Supply to be my, all in one, source store for a variety of higher end tool manufacturers, to get exactly what you need and the expert staff are very helpful. Milwaukee, Ridgid, Mayhew, OTC, and others are available, in store or to order. I highly recommend them as top 5 store if you are looking for something not common place tool wise, in Abilene. They have kept me in good shape using Milwaukee’s older V28 and V18 tools by still having new batteries for those. Great place to tool shop in town.

Tom did a great job assisting us today when all other places in Abilene wouldn’t . I highly recommend them

Walked in got help and herd everything I needed to. Thanks

Didn't know about Malcolm Supply Co. But they had a tool that I needed badly and couldn't find any other place that had this tool. Thanks for carrying this odd tool, good place and friendly atmosphere
