“Had an appointment for 4pm . Received a call from Chase to confirm that I would be there at 4pm. Left work early and arrived at the bank. There isn’t a place that you can check in and the only option is to wait in line to let a teller know you’ve arrived . My spouse approached a staff member and she confirmed my appointment but went on to say that the staff I was to see was not in today . Proceeded to tell me someone else would see me - that was not a problem ; the issue was that it was already 10 minutes past my appointment and she did not know how much longer I’d wait . She went on to explain that “we only have 2 people to see customers”. Hmmm, why book and confirm a time slot if you are short staffed ? I could have selected a different day if I had been aware of this . I am always punctual and I expect the same from a banking professional . Will take my business elsewhere .”

“Chase Bank - We make banking inconvenient. The new Chase Bank in Abilene has set new standards in how to make day to day banking the most inconvenient task you will do today. They used to be conveniently located in a decent sized building off of Rebecca Lane, with four lanes for drive thru banking. Now, they have this pretty, new building, inconveniently located by the mall, next to Chili's. (Although, I do like how, if you wait too long to do your banking at Chase, after you give up, then you can walk to Chili's and have a beer. The parking lot is smaller and laid out in such a way that you need a map to figure out how to get out of the parking lot without hitting the cars coming into the parking lot. You HAVE TO park because THERE IS NO DRIVE THRU. None, zero, zilch. Yes, there is an outside ATM and an inside ATM, but if you stupidly use Chase for corporate banking, then you have to go inside and stand in line behind the people that forgot their pin, have a third party temporary check to cash, or want to learn how money works in a capitalist society. You can't just get in line with the other lemmings that need to make a deposit and leave. The staff is still friendly, but the tellers don't just "teller." They have to do other jobs which slows down the basic banking functions that we lemmings require from the LARGEST BANK in America. Chase in Abilene is following the banking model of Bank of America, that closed the drive thru at their one Abilene location a few years ago. It was AMAZINGLY inconvenient when BOA did it, as well. If Chase was smart, they would partner with Chili's to allow the wait staff at Chili's to take care of the banking needs of the people that go into Chili's after they have waited FOREVER at Chase to JUST TO MAKE A DEPOSIT. I have a new slogan for Chase... "Chase Bank - We're big, so we don't HAVE TO CARE. (Say "Hi" to Chili's, for us, and have a beer on you.)" I apologize to Yessica, Courtney (the best speaking voice EVER) and the other teller staff. They really are nice. I also apologize for all of the run-on sarcasm. I'm pretty mad.”

“They Moved from a branch with a drive through to a branch with no parking, no drive through. They are 9-5 M-F. How INCONVENIENT! Most definitely the the TOP RATED for ZERO CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS! I mean you could at the very least have EXTENDED HOURS!!! Do better!!!!”

“Every time I go to make a deposit, I have to stand in line AT LEAST 20 minutes. Only reason I go there is to make lease payments on property. Personally, I wouldn't bank there. Staff is friendly but EXTREMELY slow. No night depository. I do NOT recommend the Abilene, Texas branch.”
