Tex Mex Air
HVAC Contractor · Abilene, TX
About
Tex Mex Air handles HVAC work across Dallas and the wider DFW region with a straightforward approach to keeping homes and businesses comfortable. They cover residential properties and commercial new construction jobs, serving places like Denton, Fort Worth, Glenn Heights, Ennis, Royse City, Sherman, and University Park. Operating since 2022, the crew focuses on air conditioning repair and replacement, heater repair and replacement, ductwork, air quality improvements, and regular system maintenance for local conditions that swing from extreme summer heat to cold snaps. The outfit stays ready for whatever the weather throws at Texas buildings without extra layers of talk.
They install full HVAC systems in new builds, perform tune-ups to keep equipment running longer, swap out filters for better airflow, and handle ductwork design and fitting so air moves properly through houses and shops. When cooling units fail or heating systems act up, technicians arrive to diagnose the problem on site and complete the fix without dragging things out. The same team supports builders on larger projects by setting up energy-efficient setups from the start and follows up with maintenance calls to prevent breakdowns during peak seasons. This covers everything from quick part swaps in existing homes to full duct runs in fresh construction.
Homeowners and builders consistently note strong communication that keeps everyone updated on timelines and costs, along with work quality that holds up under daily use and pricing that stays competitive for the scope of repairs or installs. These points add up across many jobs without unnecessary extras or delays. The crew earns solid marks for showing up prepared and finishing what they start in the Dallas heat and cold. What Customers Say
“We had no issues with being sat right away, and our server was pretty attentive. I had a pineapple strawberry margarita and it was okay, but the strawberry tasted pretty artificial 6/10. Chips were fresh, salsa could've had a little more flavor. However, the jalapeño bacon bites were pretty good and had a bit of a sweet taste to them 7/10. My boyfriend and I shared the birria quesadillas, they were pretty solid 8/10 and the fried bread pudding was really good 9/10. It was pretty solid overall and I'd recommend.”
“I am a lover of Chile rellenos and I am usually satisfied with it when I order one...but Not this time. It was not does in egg...it was deep fried like a piece of chicken with a HARD crusty batter. It was the worst Chile relleno I've ever had. The tortillas were ok. The decor is beautiful!! We sat in a private area beautifully decorated. The food was ok. The sopapilla cheesecake was enjoyed by my whole family. They loved it.”
“Came to town to get my Mazda serviced and decided to try this place. The food is really good. The margarita's are good too, but a tad pricey. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Abilene.”
“If you're anywhere near Abilene and your stomach starts making executive decisions, head to Miguel's Mex-Tex Cafe! First, let's talk about Amy. If there were an Olympic event for outstanding servers, she'd be bringing home the gold. She was funny, professional, knew the menu inside and out, and somehow convinced us to order exactly what we didn't know we needed. Every recommendation was a winner. We kicked things off with the Queso Grande and crispy tacos (because self-control is overrated), then dove into the Hatch Guisada and Brisket Enchiladas. Let's just say there wasn't much conversation after the first few bites we were too busy enjoying the food. Then came the Margarita Flight... Agave, Spicy Pineapple, and the seasonal Watermelon. Calling it a "flight" is appropriate because they took our taste buds on vacation without leaving Texas! Is it a little pricier than your average Tex-Mex stop? Sure. Did we regret a single dollar? Absolutely not. Great food, amazing drinks, outstanding service, and plenty of laughs made it worth every penny. Miguel's, we'll be back... and Amy, thanks for making us feel like regulars on our very first visit!”
“The atmosphere is great, awesome decor and environment but the food lacked any wow factor and flavor. The asada fries came close, but were covered in pico, even though the menu doesn't mention that.”
