Helping Hand Services

Helping Hand Services works out of Alta Loma, Texas, where the main focus stays on HVAC systems for houses and small buildings. The crew handles the steady demand that comes with Texas heat, showing up to keep air conditioners running when temperatures climb and to sort out heating when winter hits. They deal with the everyday reality of older homes that need units checked or replaced because dust and humidity wear parts down fast. No big claims about special methods, just the basic work of keeping airflow steady so rooms stay comfortable through long summers.

In practice they install new HVAC units, repair broken compressors and fans, clean coils that get clogged, and check ductwork for leaks that waste energy. Homeowners around Alta Loma call them when an air conditioner stops cooling in July or when a thermostat gives wrong readings after years of use. The team moves through jobs by testing the full system first, replacing only what is needed, and making sure the unit runs quiet once finished. That approach fits the area because sudden breakdowns happen often with the mix of high heat and occasional storms that knock power around.

Customers in this trade value fast arrivals when the inside temperature climbs past ninety degrees, solid repairs that last past one season, and clear talk about what the job will cost before any parts come out of the truck. The score reflects steady results on those points across the jobs they have taken, even if some reviews note room to improve on follow-up timing. Homeowners here face the same pressure every year to keep cooling costs down while avoiding units that fail right when it matters most. DIRT Score 3.77 from 14 reviews on Finds.

“I was able to get a prompt appointment and the technicians, Karsen and Trent, came an hour early - which was perfect. They diagnosed the simple problems with my a.c and heater and fixed them quickly and affordably. My neighbor recommended them to me and I am happy to recommend them, too.”

“Sean and his son Carson serviced my York system and checked in my attic to be sure all ducts were securely attached, as my house seemed dusty at times. They offer wonderful, old-school customer service and really, really are experts when it comes to HVAC systems. They are also reliable, punctual, and fair when it comes to pricing. I strongly recommend Helping Hand Services Heating and Air Conditioning; you'll be thoroughly pleased.”

“My upstairs A/C unit went out on a Saturday morning in June this year, which was the first real hot day of the summer. It was going to top out at around 95 degrees that Saturday, and it was getting really uncomfortable in my upstairs area at about 1:30 p.m. that afternoon. I had called (3) other A/C companies, and they all quoted me at very high exuberant prices to fix the unit; plus they all couldn't get out to my house to fix the A/C unit until the following Monday. Didn't want to wait that long. I called Helping Hands Heating & AC Services - and what a blessing! I want to shout out a big "Thank You" to Karson. He was pleasant and professional over the phone, answered all my questions, gave me a reasonable estimate to fix the problem, and he got out to my home to fix the A/C unit in less than an hour - really fast service! He was well dressed, clean and professional. Got my upstairs A/C unit up and going in a jiffy! Great service, reasonable pricing, and I highly recommend this heating & A/C company!”

“We recently had a new AC unit installed in our attic by HHS. I first reached out to several companies to get a quote on the work we needed done. All of the other companies were way over priced and made me feel like what we were asking was not possible because we wanted the new unit in the attic instead of our hallway, which would of made the job easier for them. HHS was able to install the new unit in my attic (so much quieter), add new vents to all rooms and improve our ducts, yes it was a lot of work but they made it seem easy. We are more then satisfied with both Sean and Ryan, they are professional and genuinely nice guys who do not take advantage of their customers.”

“Karsen was sent to my house and I couldn't have asked for a better person to come. He fixed my ac quickly and professionally. And hooked up the price!! Couldn't be happier. Thank you thank you thank you!! I would recommend these guys to everyone!! Great work! Once again, I needed some help with my aunts minisplit and karsen came and figured it out quickly! We couldn't be happier!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I will never use another ac guy”
