“Such a beautiful place to take your dogs for a walk or just chill. The park at the college is pretty big and you can even feed the squrills. They are very friendly. Love this spot.”

“I have ALWAYS found staff to be friendly and helpful. I mostly use the gym. The gym there is the best in Amarillo. Very well equipped, and rarely crowded.”

“I had seen this campus before but never went on the actual campus. I called the library to see if there was a textbook that they might have for a class that I’m taking at another university. The lady was helpful and was able to find me one of the books that I could use. So we went to the campus today. It was a nice campus and looked like a good place to attend and makes you feel like you’re at home. Overall I would attend this college for further education or certifications.”

“From 1967 to 1970 I was a part-time student at Amarillo College. I eventually accumulate about 36 hours of college credit. I later attended two 4 year Universities in Kentucky and Oklahoma on a part-time basis where I eventually received a Bachelor Degree in Public Administration and worked on an MBA Degree. I attended all of the classes on a part-time basis because I always had to work a full-time job. I went on to have a very successful Federal law enforcement career. I give thanks to Amarillo College and their great Professors for giving me an opportunity to do well in life. So good luck to all the Students and Professors.”

“Classes are not too pricey but when you put them together with access codes for professors who want convenience over having to do any actual work and then said access codes are coupled with software that is awful to say the least, this college is going to cost you double after you figure out how bad it is that you are being ripped off and have to switch to another college. I do not know why access codes are a thing. It is awful. Like you are a professor and teach a distance course, do some professor work and put together an actual criteria for your class. I have classes where all due dates are from years behind or past semesters. They do not even update that? Really? Do not bother with this college. The amount of procrastination I have seen is tantamount the eiffel tower and for the student needing some tolerance of the same kind and you will be met with an oh, that is not allowed!!!!!!!!! NO late work accepted under any circumstance. No leniency at all for the student, it is all for convenience for the school.”
