“We stayed in Playa Montroig in June. It is a lovely camp site with plenty of activities for families. However Debbie and Steve the Kelair reps ruined our holiday. When we arrived at the Kelair reception I didn’t see anyone and I walked around. She appeared like a bull declaring this is reception wait here. The two of us were in the reception small hut and after a long awkward silence I asked is it with yourself . Yes it is follow me. No hello , welcome nothing. We were threatened with our deposit if the place wasn’t kept clean and told it was a new cabin. It wasn’t a clean cabin when we arrived. Mid way through our holiday a cat pulled our rubbish bag out onto the balcony and ripped it. Steve was passing and we asked him for a spare plastic bag. He ate the head off my husband who was trying to clean the balcony for not having a spare bag. He was so loud and drew every cabins attention. Debbie appeared the day before we left . We did look for our reps during our holiday as we had questions but they were never available . She threatened us with our deposit and said . If this place isn’t clean I’ll be charging you €20 per hour to clean it. I have no problem keeping your deposit. It must be left as you found it or there will be consequences. She was shouting as she said it and very aggressive . Any queries we had we went to the main reception for fear of them. Another family has sick children and needed new sheets and were afraid to ring Debbie and Steve. They also got the same threats. Steve drives far too fast on the cart and narrowly missed driving into our car. We all got a fright. They seem to have been moved from a resort in France and I can see why. I would stay in playa montroig again but not with Kelair because of these reps. I would recommend booking directly with the resort.”
