Cool Air Refrigeration

Cool Air Refrigeration runs as an HVAC company right in Anaheim, Texas. They specialize in heating and air conditioning repairs for local homeowners who need reliable service when systems break down. The business concentrates on air conditioner fixes and heating unit maintenance in a place where extreme temperatures test equipment all year long. Folks in Anaheim face long hot stretches that force AC units to run constantly, leading to common failures like compressor issues or refrigerant leaks. Their approach keeps things straightforward by responding to calls for service on residential setups.

They provide HVAC services that cover installation of new units, regular maintenance checks, and emergency repairs on both cooling and heating equipment. In Anaheim the dry heat and occasional dust storms mean filters clog quicker than in milder climates, so technicians often deal with airflow problems and dirty coils that reduce efficiency. Homeowners call them when the thermostat stops responding or when strange noises come from the outdoor condenser. The crew works by diagnosing the issue on site, replacing worn parts like capacitors or fan motors, and testing the whole system before leaving to make sure it holds up through the next heat wave. Common jobs include recharging refrigerant levels after leaks are sealed and calibrating controls to balance temperatures across different rooms in the house.

Homeowners in the area consistently note the quick response times when AC units fail during peak summer months. Speed matters a lot when the inside temperature climbs past comfortable levels and families need relief fast. Quality of repairs stands out because systems stay fixed without callbacks. Pricing gets mentioned as reasonable compared to other outfits, and the back and forth on updates keeps everyone informed without extra hassle. This kind of track record builds trust for repeat calls on maintenance or bigger replacements down the line. DIRT Score 3.86 from 16 reviews on Finds.

“This company is truly a pain to deal with. I first had them install a unit in 2022, They came out very quickly and installed the unit promptly. The unit worked great until the first winter. I called the company to come out and repair the furnace. It took nearly 2 months and several technicians before someone knew how to fix the issue. Then this summer, the unit stopped blowing cold air. They sent a tech out who spent 4 hours diagnosing the issue and he kept on going back and forth to his car. I had to call the owner to get anything done. Now, this winter the heater broke again and after 6 weeks no one has come out to address the issue. I unfortunately am going to have to pay another company to come out and pay out of pocket to repair whatever this company did wrong. I really tried giving this company the benefit of the doubt but they are truly abysmal at follow up. I understand if the unit is defective then it is not their fault, but it is the avoidance and unwillingness to try and help resolve the issue that is truly upsetting.”

“These guys are absolutely fantastic. My HVAC system ran out of coolant due to a leak, and I decided to reach out to a local AC company GC Heating and Cooling Inc. with tons of reviews. When their technician arrived, he informed me that my AC unit used R22 refrigerant, which they didn't handle. He suggested that I could convert it, but it would be a costly $2K+ investment, and even then, success wasn't guaranteed. He advised me to consider getting a completely new system, which would set me back $18K. I was shocked by his recommendation and told him I needed time to think it over. In the meantime, I contacted COOL AIR, and Carlos assured me that they could work with R22 refrigerant, although it would be more expensive. He also suggested that switching to R407 coolant would be a cost-effective solution. Carlos convinced me that the conversion would work flawlessly. I made the call on Friday, and the very next day, Robert arrived at my house. He was incredibly professional and laid-back. Robert efficiently repaired the leak, swiftly converted my system to R407, and now it functions brilliantly, delivering ice-cold air. Thank you Carlos and Robert. Honest and professional. FYI, don't trust the quantity of reviews, trust the quality of a review.”
