“I really wanted to leave a positive review and for this to be a great experience, especially after paying about $17,000 for a new 2-ton Amana air handler and heat pump, a full-house ductwork redo (this home has two HVAC systems), a Daikin mini-split installation in an addition, plus duct cleaning and vent replacements. Unfortunately, I can’t in good conscience do that because the workmanship on a critical part of the job was not up to an acceptable standard. To be fair: Brad (the HVAC Manager) and Travis (the HVAC Tech who came out and found and fixed the problem) were both excellent—competent, knowledgeable, and genuinely good people. I also want to note that the electrical team did a great job and was professional and thorough. The issue was with the HVAC install crew and the quality of the installation. The duct connection to the air handler plenum was not properly supported/strapped to the rafters, and it came off the plenum and began pulling attic air and insulation particles into the master bedroom. For months, my wife and I were waking up with headaches, and we noticed odd smells when the heat ran. Once the problem was corrected, it was clear that attic air and airborne debris had been entering the room and the system was likely circulating/heating dust and insulation through the heater cycle—plus it was running up our electric bill. English appeared to be a second language for the majority of the install crew, and I want to be clear: I don’t care if English is someone’s first language as long as the communication is effective and the work is done correctly and up to standard. More importantly, the crew did not appear to be trained to the standard required for a high-dollar HVAC install, and there also seemed to be a lack of internal communication and consistency within the team—especially since I’ve heard this may not have been the first time this has occurred with clients. Bottom line: I appreciate Brad, Travis, and the electrical team, but Warren Service Co needs to improve the training and oversight of its HVAC install crews and ensure that every installer assigned to a complex job is well-trained and able to execute to the standard that job requires. I understand many team members are still developing their skills, but those who haven’t earned their stripes yet should be paired with experienced installers and kept on simpler tasks until they’re ready for more complex work—especially when mistakes can impact air quality and a family’s health.”
“Quick response. Honest, no-nonsense service and advice. In this AI world, I am thankful to get a hot water heater from people I believe in. Tyler is growing so much and it’s hard to know where to turn and I even grew up in this East Texas area. They will be servicing my HVAC next week.”
“Two Warren Service Technicians showed up on time for the appointment to correct the failure to start issue on our whole house generator. Both were courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Earlier I had reset the controls to try and restart the generator but that did no good. After they had checked the battery, wiring, oil level and air filter and anything else that might pertain to the issue the problem did not exhibit itself as the generator promptly started right up for them. They recommended that if it happened again to leave the unit alone and call them to deal with the problem while the control panel was in its alert status. I am glad I called them and will do so again as needed.”
“Bradley came in found the issue with the AC. He explained the cost to repair and showed where the leak was on the ac coil. It ended up being poor installation by the installer of the unit. My wife and i had the repair by Bradley, he explained each step as he was doing the repair. Great job done Warren Service and Bradley the HVAC Technician. Mike and Sandi Gibson”
