About

Dorinda Kay Vaughn runs an HVAC business based right in Brownsville, Texas. She focuses on air conditioning work for homes in a city where the heat and humidity push cooling systems hard for months on end. Her state license number 105303 sits on file with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as an A/C contractor, carrying an expiration date of June 27, 2026. Local homeowners face nonstop strain on their units from the South Texas climate, which makes reliable service a constant need rather than a once in a while request. She stays active in that market handling the steady calls that come with older homes and new builds alike.

Technicians in this line of work spend time on site diagnosing why units lose cooling power during peak afternoon hours or why airflow drops in certain rooms. They handle routine maintenance checks that catch problems before they leave a family without air, along with full replacements when older systems reach the end of their life in the constant moisture. In Brownsville the jobs often involve climbing into attics to inspect ducts that collect condensation or resetting controls that fail under heavy load. Customers count on quick responses when the inside temperature climbs past comfort levels, and the crew works through the standard steps of testing components, clearing drains, and confirming the system holds pressure once repairs finish.

Homeowners keep coming back because the crew shows up when promised and explains the fixes in plain terms without extra charges for basic calls. Reviews point to solid results on both small repairs and larger jobs, with consistent marks for finishing on time and keeping costs in line with what was quoted. Communication stays direct from the first call through the final walkthrough, which helps when schedules shift around work or family needs. DIRT Score 4.36 from 25 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

We buried my grandpa yesterday, and I’m so grateful for the kindness and patience everyone at this funeral home showed us. Jennifer was my main point of contact, and she was truly AMAZING. I had a lot of questions and called often, but she was always kind, calm, and patient with me. When she could tell I was stuck trying to decide on certain details, she softly suggested a few ideas she thought I would like, which helped so much and took a lot of pressure off. She even offered to let me call her after hours the night before the service if I had any last-minute questions or concerns. Her compassion and understanding meant more than I can put into words. Because of Jennifer and the staff, we were able to honor my grandpa the way he deserved. I would highly recommend this funeral home to anyone going through such a hard time.

I can’t say enough about the kindness and professionalism we received during such a difficult time. Anna and Jennifer went above and beyond for our family. Their patience, compassion, and attention to every detail made an overwhelming process feel manageable. They treated us with genuine care and guided us through each step with such grace. We are deeply grateful for everything they did. Thank you for helping us honor our dad with dignity and love.

My husband passed away 3 weeks ago. From my first call to them I was treated like family. Jennifer was not only kind and compassionate, but was professional and knowledgeable. I won’t forget the way I was treated during the worst time of my life.

They are wonderful. Anna is the best. She goes beyond to make you comfortable. She treats you like family. They gave my dad a beautiful Military funeral. She walked me through it every inch of the way. I highly recommend them.
