“I waited for over an hour for the agent, Dwight Hummer, to show a property. While I waited in the rain and cold, two other prospective tenants showed up. When the agent finally showed, we entered into a filthy, cigarette smoke filled duplex on Brandi Place in North Richland Hills. There was dog poop on the carpet in the master bedroom. All the counter tops, walls, carpets, floors, everything was filthy. I was told it was ready to show. Why would a company show a property in this condition? On top of that, when I questioned the realtor about the condition that it would be cleaned to, ie- new carpets?, he had no clue. Today is Wednesday. He said it could be cleaned and ready to be rented by Monday. I left feeling filthy and was told by the other possible tenant that she had contacted Roy, the property manager about the property initially. I immediately called him to let him know the condition that this property was shown in and the concerns I had with the way it would be cleaned for a new tenant. He told me that they wouldn't replace the carpet as it was fairly new, even after I told him about the dog poop on the floor and the cigarette smoke smell seeping from the home. He said they would have a clean-up crew in there and I could see it after that to see what it would be rented like but other than that there was nothing he could say for the over hour wait for the realtor and the disgusting manner in which it was shown. I would steer CLEAR of this rental company!!!”
