About

Bluesky Air Conditioning operates as an HVAC contractor throughout the Dallas area and the wider DFW metroplex. Owner Josue runs the crew with a focus on straightforward talk and practical fixes rather than pushing new equipment every time. The company handles residential heating and cooling work for homeowners who want technicians who actually listen and check things out before quoting. They stick to a repair-first approach that sets them apart from outfits quick to recommend full replacement, and they install Trane systems while keeping floor coverings in place to avoid mess on the job site.

Technicians like Ron and Ray handle day-to-day calls such as next-day diagnostic visits, running multiple tests on units, and giving second opinions that save money. Ron has sorted out problems by explaining findings step by step and confirming the root cause without extra upsells. Ray walked through a supposed major breakdown, offered free advice on minor adjustments, and kept the bill low instead of listing expensive options. The crew has also managed emergency cooling setups for nurseries during heat waves and rushed heating system installs ahead of winter storms, arriving within a day or two when homeowners faced urgent breakdowns. They maintain clean workspaces after every visit and focus on same-day responses when possible.

Homeowners keep coming back because the team shows up fast even on short notice, explains every step without jargon, and charges fair rates that hold steady during tight situations. Quality shows in thorough testing and respectful handling of homes, while communication stays direct and honest from the first call. Pricing earns consistent mentions for staying competitive without surprise add-ons. These patterns across reviews point to reliable HVAC work that matches what Dallas homeowners need during peak seasons. DIRT Score 5.0 from 386 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

I've had two very positive experiences with Blue Sky. Scheduling the appointments were very easy and the technician, Ron, was able to stop by the next day to diagnose the issue. Ron was highly knowledgeable, professional, ran plenty of tests, talked me through the issues, and was ultimately able to fix the issue and get my A/C back up and running. The first experience I had with Blue Sky they completely replaced my Evaporator Coil and Secondary drip pan, which was over a year ago, and it's been running great! And I appreciate them giving me extra tips and guidance to maintain it and keep it running great. Thank you Ron, Tommy, Kwai, and Karl.

I cannot stress enough how utterly disastrous my experience with Blue Sky Heating and Air has been. In 2018, they were contracted to install a new HVAC furnace in my attic. The company was required by my home insurance to pull city permits for inspection to ensure the work was up to code – a standard procedure for safety. However, Blue Sky Heating and Air blatantly ignored this requirement and did not pull the necessary permits. To make matters worse, they sawed through a crucial roof support beam in my attic in order to squeeze in a furnace that was way too large for the space. They didn't bother measuring properly before ordering the unit, which led to this unsafe and reckless decision. The roof support beam is now compromised, and the entire structure is at risk of collapsing because they were too lazy to plan and follow safety protocols. I didn’t realize the full extent of the damage until the unit failed, and I had to replace the entire system. When the new HVAC technicians came in, they confirmed that my home would fail an inspection due to Blue Sky’s shoddy work. To fix the damage they caused would cost upwards of $2,000, which is on top of the $16,000 I’m already spending to replace the entire system because of their negligence. I reached out to Blue Sky to ask why they hadn’t pulled the permits, and the receptionist, Joyce, hung up on me twice. When I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager, I was refused and completely ignored. As if that wasn’t enough, I reported them to the Austin Code Department for not pulling the required permits. The code officer called me back almost immediately and informed me that, after my complaint, Blue Sky finally filed the permits – seven years after the installation! In 15 years of working for the city, the officer told me she had never encountered such a horrendous and irresponsible situation from a company. This company does not operate with integrity, safety, or professionalism. They cut corners at the expense of homeowners, and their work is simply not trustworthy. Do yourself a favor and avoid Blue Sky Heating and Air at all costs. If you care about your home, your safety, and your money, choose a reputable company like Strand Brothers or Radiant Plumbing. Don’t make the mistake I did.

I thought I had a major issue and the first company I called was fast and responsive but quoted me four options with the most expensive one costing well over $10k. Ray from Blue Sky came for a second opinion and gave me a thorough explanation of the “problem” and some free tips with a charge of only $39. I think the first company maybe was truthful in believing the work should be done but blue sky was honest in the severity and were focused on my pocketbook. I wish everyone I worked with was like Ray!

Excellent service! First time user of BLUE SKY but if necessary would love to have them back in my home. This tech was efficient, explanatory (I like that), courteous and respectful of my home/property. I was please with the service in every way. Thank you, Ms. Lillian M. Respress

We recently had a new HVAC system installed with them. They did a fantastic job and for a fair price. I have had them perform work for us on other properties and they were prompt, and honest. I will be working with them again for any future AC issues.
