“The DSD is one fancy bldg. Ha- how many millions to build such a facility that no one seems to use???The a/c system in the lobby is ridiculous. It's so loud as if a 747 was taking off- it's placed and exposed right above the chairs in the lobby where one sits. What a great design- lol. Now for the services- or shall I say non existent services. Their permit system was created by an insane person- it's impossible to navigate and confusing. The staff are lazy and the inspectors even more so. It's a wonder that anything gets built correctly in Austin. Skip Austin is the best advice that I can give anyone. It's a dump of a town and terribly screwed up in so many ways.”

“Walked in to put money in my escrow account,and I was stopped by security the moment I walked in and felt like I was interrogated. Will never go back in there again. Everything will be done online now. 100% disrespectful and racial profile. What a disgrace for the city of Austin”

“Worst service ever!!! I requested a permit on my personal property 2 months ago with a swift denial and NO explanation or advice on what to do. After 10 emails and 14 phone calls asking for help to better understand, to this day NO ONE has reached out. So many people said I should have just cut down the tree endangering my home without notifying the City but I wanted to do it the right way. I'm still waiting for a response.”
