“This was the second time I've had service from Cold Is On The Right. The previous service was in 2017 and was extensive involving replacement of a water heater, valves beneath the kitchen sink and the utility cutoff. Their rates have increased exponentially. This latest job was a simple clothes washer valve replacement. 30 minutes of work and the charge was almost half what I paid for 4 or 5 hours previously. The plumber they sent was fantastic and knowledgeable. He did great work. I just think $1000/hour is insane. They charge $99 for a service call just to tell me the price is $500, but I sent photos and a description of the job. They couldn't have given me an estimate for that before charging and coming to my home? To be fair, they did grant me a discount but that was still some serious sticker shock given my previous experience with them.”
