Cool Horizons Llc

Cool Horizons Llc runs HVAC work as an air conditioning contractor based at 3919 Caldwell Ln in Del Valle, Texas near Austin. The company lists services that include AC repair, heating repair, HVAC installation, furnace repair, ductless mini splits, and seasonal maintenance across Del Valle, Cedar Creek, Manor, and West Lake Hills. One customer review notes the business is family owned and operated. The Google profile shows categories for air conditioning repair service, air conditioning system supplier, heating contractor, and heating equipment supplier.

Customers describe calls for new AC unit installs that held up over five years, Saturday afternoon breakdowns in 100 degree heat fixed by swapping a faulty capacitor in under 30 minutes, and holiday weekend visits where a technician arrived within two hours and completed the job the next day once parts arrived. Technicians JoJo, Robert, and Laura receive mentions for handling these repairs along with routine heating service. Other jobs include troubleshooting full systems and responding to exact needs for quick fixes on existing equipment.

They reply to messages within 10 minutes in some cases and reach jobs the same evening even outside normal hours. Service stays limited to the towns listed on their profile, with customers reporting both small repairs and full replacements. Pricing draws complaints as two to three times higher than other quotes for a 1950 square foot house, and some jobs left debris in attics plus dirt under vents. One call received no owner reply at all.

“These folks are great, have used them for years, JoJo, Robert, Laura and whole team up there make using Cool Horizons a great experience. They are prompt, knowledgeable, fair priced and very nice people. They put in our AC unit 5 years back and we have used them ever since.”

“Wonderful service! I called early in the morning and he was out in about 2 hours to check it out on the holiday weekend. He fixed the very next day once they could get the parts. I have used them for years and they are the only people I trust! A+++++”

“My HVAC unit stopped cooling on Saturday afternoon. 100 degrees outside. A friend suggested Cool Horizons, so I called them 5:53 p.m. Saturday and left a voice message. They replied within 10 minutes. Technician arrived 6:54 p.m., found the problem (faulty capacitor), and finished repair in less than 30 minutes. On Saturday evening! Thank you Cool Horizons! Family owned & operated. Definitely A+++”

“Can’t be trusted. The prices are 2-3 times higher than competitors(I was quoted 16k for new furnace and AC unit. My house is only 1950sft) and the finished work is very unprofessional with debris left all over my attic and dirt below every vent in my house. I’ve had it checked by another company 2 years later and they told me I was sold an oversized furnace and an off-brand AC condenser. DO NOT work with these people unless you have small repairs and even then I would not trust them to tell you the truth. Always shop around.”

“Cool Horizons is the BEST. Immediately responded to our exact needs. Wonderful customer service - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“no response from the owner after calling so rude to leave customers ghosted”
