“Who knew you could feel this tucked away while still being in Austin? I walked part of the Onion Creek trail and spent a while near the water, where the limestone rocks and cypress trees made a good spot to just sit for a bit. The falls were smaller than I expected, but the area was still scenic, especially with people wading and relaxing along the creek. The trail was easy overall, though a little rough in places, and the clean restroom near the picnic area was appreciated on a warm day. Bring water and shoes you don’t mind getting wet... It makes the visit a lot easier.”

There’s plenty of space to move around, lots of seating, and more than enough outlets, which makes it really convenient for gatherings of all kinds.
