About

Leo's Services runs out of Dallas Texas and sticks to HVAC work for houses in the area. The crew deals with the heating and cooling gear that homeowners rely on when the weather swings hard from summer heat that lasts for months to the occasional cold front in winter. Dallas conditions wear down units fast so these techs focus on keeping air moving and temperatures steady without adding extra steps or surprises. They show up with the tools to handle whatever breaks on rooftops or in attics and get systems back running the same day when possible.

Leo's Services takes on full installs of new air conditioners and furnaces along with repairs to compressors coils and thermostats that stop working right in the middle of peak season. They run routine maintenance checks to catch leaks or worn belts before a full breakdown hits and they handle duct cleaning or modifications when airflow drops off in older homes. Work starts with a direct look at the unit then moves to parts and labor that fit the job without dragging out over multiple visits. Homeowners in Dallas often call for quick fixes after units freeze up from nonstop running or when filters clog from the dust that blows around the metro area.

Customers rate Leo's Services high on getting jobs done fast and keeping prices in line with the work required while explaining options in plain terms before starting. Reviews point to solid results on quality that last through the hottest months and clear updates during service calls that avoid confusion. The pattern holds across dozens of jobs where techs arrive on schedule and leave systems running right. DIRT Score 4.3 from 67 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Setting an appointment online is easy. Greeted upon arrival. The emissions testing was completed on time. I've been coming here for 4 years now. This time, they went above and beyond for me so I could get back on the road quickly with a peace of mind. Thanks Guys, you're the best!

Got my vehicle inspected here and had a great experience. It was very easy to make an appointment online and there was plenty of availability. They saw me on time and the inspection took less than 10 minutes.

Service was quick and everyone was friendly. I went to the quickie inspection place first and was told there was a 30-40 minute wait time. Drove up the street to Leo's and was out of there within 15 minutes.

I had been in a couple times before, to get oil changes done. Then another time, to have them rotate my tires. Things seemed fine, relative. As in, I hadn’t had any bad experiences, but I also hadn’t had any “standout” customer service experiences either. Today was really bad. I went in to pick up my car - because they had it for a couple days. After I expressed that I experienced a break-in, and wanted to know how much it would cost to fix all the things. Yesterday, the price to fix my window was $150. Today, when I talked to Mark? $450. How? Why? What? The price went from $150 to $450, in a day? To fix a rear side window? Nah, I don’t have it, and the math isn’t mathing. I call back, and a woman picks up the phone. Any and every thing I asked her about, she didn’t know nor have a response really. So I get dropped off at Leo’s, to pick up my car - and there’s a light on on my dash, that most definitely wasn’t on when I dropped my car off a couple days ago. No one really has an explanation, and no one really wants to be bothered or talk anymore, after I paid $85 for a “car inspection” (i.e. they housed my car for two days and told me what parts I needed in order to get it fixed). Today I experienced terrible customer service, and it just shouldn’t be that way. No one could help me, and no one really wanted to help me. They were more concerned with me not leaving right away, because apparently I was blocking their gas pumps from customers who might want to pull in for gas. That has been my experience. Hopefully some of you have read this far. And for you, Mark - need not worry. You won’t get my business anymore. There’s no way. See y’all after while.

Be cautious going here, they don't seem to know what they're doing/talking about. A couple weeks ago my car's front passenger brake/wheel was locking up progressively more and more while driving so I had it towed to Leo's for the first time since it was near my apartment. I told them my brakes were locking up and the car was extremely difficult, if not impossible to move. After looking at it for a day they told me it was a bad axle that needed replacement. After gathering more information from highly regarded and trusted mechanics from my home state, I was told it was almost certainly a bad caliper and/or brake hose. I called Leo's back the next day to get a clear explanation of what the original problem was and why the tire was locking up and they told me they couldn't identify the exact problem (how is this even possible for a mechanic) and just that I needed a new axle, while also saying now I need a new hub bearing since "they were causing each other problems". During the entire time Leo's had my car, I asked at least 5 times whether or not the calipers/brakes were bad, strongly suggesting that this was the issue, and every time they ensured me everything involving my brakes/calipers looked good and were in good shape. Leo's ended up only replacing my axle which "fixed" the problem for 3 days, then the same exact issue as the original happened while I was driving again, this time much worse with a severe burning smell coming from the same wheel. I took my car to another auto shop, telling them the same thing that I suggested to Leo's, that I believe the calipers are the issue. Within a day, the other auto shop confirmed the issue this whole time was bad calipers/brake hoses (while also suggesting new brake pads/rotors) so I got the problem fixed there. My car's been running great ever since the other shop fixed it. I'm blown away how a relatively simple problem to identify was impossible for Leo's to correctly locate while charging me for a part replacement that was potentially completely unnecessary. I have friends that have gone here before and they've told me they've had similar issues of Leo's not being able to identify problems and that their "repairs" have not actually fixed whatever their issues were.
