About

Jeffrey Mark Mccombs provides HVAC services from his base in Austin, Texas. This trade involves managing the systems that heat and cool homes throughout the year. In this area, the weather demands strong performance from air conditioners during long hot periods and from heaters when temperatures drop. He works on units in residential properties where breakdowns can leave families uncomfortable fast. The focus stays on practical fixes and setups that fit the demands of local houses. Austin's mix of older homes and new builds creates a range of equipment types that need attention. Over time, dust and humidity affect how these systems run, so regular checks help prevent bigger issues.

Mccombs handles full system installations for new construction and replacements in existing homes, along with repairs on compressors, coils, and thermostats that fail under heavy use. Austin summers push units hard with weeks above ninety degrees, so common jobs include recharging refrigerant, clearing clogged drains from humidity buildup, and swapping out worn fans before they cause total shutdowns. He also performs seasonal tune ups that cover filter changes, electrical checks, and duct sealing to keep air moving evenly. Homeowners call when units short cycle or blow warm air, and the work centers on getting everything back online without unnecessary add ons. The city's varied housing stock means dealing with both older window units and modern central systems in the same week.

Customers note consistent on time arrivals for service calls and repairs that hold up through the next season without repeat visits. They mention fair charges for parts and labor plus clear explanations of what needs doing before any work starts. Quality shows in fewer callbacks after fixes on cooling problems tied to local conditions, while communication stays direct about timelines and options. Speed matters when heat waves hit and indoor temps climb fast. DIRT Score 4.63 from 94 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Best school I have attended. Amazing Professors who help in making sure one students get the best of education in an easy manner to assimulate and become an expert in what you major in.

Update: they put a ping pong table in The lounge!!! The faculty here are great! However, I am only giving 3 stars due to the lack of leisure amenities in the PhD student lounge. Adding a ping pong table to the lounge would have a positive effect on student wellbeing and productivity

escalators are always broken

SCAM! Can’t believe UT has a “partnership” with this. The “advisors” are in India. The “instructors” are in India. Signed up for a course. Paid and began the pre-course work for Full Stack. The first instructor “taught” as if he were making his first home tutorial video for YouTube. Nearly every sentence began with “so basically.” It was so hard to follow simply because the instructor didn’t seem to be an actual professional who could teach adults. When a refund was requested, suddenly the callbacks and replies to email stopped. Finally heard back that my refund was refused. I only had faith in this program because UT allows their name on it. Even when I called UT directly, they were unfamiliar with this course until looking in their system and confirming it’s a partnership with an Indian company called Greater Learning. I have to wonder where all these good (misleading!) reviews are really coming from.
