Pro-Air Engineering Inc
HVAC Contractor · Austin, TX
About
Pro-Air Engineering Inc operates as a commercial heating and air conditioning outfit based right in Austin, Texas. They have handled HVAC work in the area since 1989 from a sizable facility that includes their own sheet metal fabrication shop and an on-staff engineer. This setup lets them take on new construction projects, remodels, full replacements, routine service calls, and ongoing preventative maintenance for businesses. They also install and service kitchen hood systems along with various types of equipment. The engineer helps design installations that fit budgets without cutting corners on quality, and they keep a live person answering phones during business hours plus a technician on call around the clock for urgent issues.
Their crews focus on commercial sites where they perform new air conditioning system installs, multiple repairs, and regular preventative maintenance over multiple years at the same locations. One long-term client noted that a representative stayed on schedule, answered promptly, and kept a friendly approach during work on their building. Another account described how the team completed several air conditioning installs plus assorted fixes and maintenance tasks exactly when promised and for reasonable costs. They reach jobs with clear communication so owners know what to expect, and the fabrication shop supports quick custom work on ductwork or other parts during replacements and remodels. This hands-on method covers everything from emergency responses to scheduled upkeep without relying on outside vendors for basic fabrication needs.
Customers who rate them higher point to consistent reliability on timing, clear responses to calls, solid professional conduct, and costs that match the work completed at commercial spots around Austin. Those same points about being reachable and delivering on stated plans stand out across the better feedback even when driving complaints appear in other notes. The balance of those strengths against occasional issues produces the overall mark. DIRT Score 3.05 from 20 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Not very smart drivers. It’s still dark out and raining hard and one of these vans is driving around without any lights on. Watched multiple drivers flash their lights and this guy seems to be clueless. Some one is going to pull out not seeing this van coming down the road and cause a wreck.”
“We have been working with Pro-Air Engineering for the past 5-7 years, they have taken care of our commercial building, their rep is always on time, responsive and friedly. I highly recommend working with Pro-Air Enguneering.”
“The driver of truck #17 on Monday August 11 2025 (today) cut me off in the middle of traffic on 35 at about 510 . He was not driving safe at all. If I hadn't slammed on my brakes he would've side swept me. That is UNACCEPTABLE and as a company with an employee driving YOUR vehicle they represent YOU. I have the license plate number as well and the number on the side of the hood at the front of the truck to help identify the driver. I am still in shock that I didn't get hit. I have on camera him in front of me right after he almost hit me tkkn”
“Pro air has done many new A/C system installs, various repairs and preventive maintenance at our locations over the years. They do what they say there going to do, when they say they are going to do it, at a fair price. Easy to reach, very professional. Very well run company. I highly recommend them!”
“We always get great service and fair prices with Pro-Air Engineering. My experiences with the office staff have been very friendly. Having worked with a variety of commercial HVAC companies over the years, I recommend Pro-Air above any of the others I know. The negative reviews here are completely contrary to our experiences with Pro-Air. If you would like good service at a reasonable price, I suggest trying Pro-Air Engineering.”
